THE FIRST GAME WAS GOOD AND NOW IT GOT EVEN BETTER

Love the game this game is amazing beautiful playy

This game is very fun, even more if you like RTS games.

I've played Halo since the beginning. This is a great addition to the franchise. The story mode is challenging. The online multiplayer games are challenging. The new card game feature "Blitz" is...different and new. It really takes good strategy and critical thinking skills to compete. I look forward to Halo Wars 3!

RTS are hard to pull off on a console because of controller limitations. You end up ditching the most effective units to counter the enemy and just throw a mix of everything at them until the level ends. It takes too long to select specific units to attack other specific unit types. Not saying the game isn't fun though.

Halo is always the best on xnox you cant go wrong.

Harks back to the original halo wars from almost 10 years ago. Good single player mode however online mode is dominated by people who have spent real money to get card packs to upgrade their army.

Bought the ultimate edition so had early opportunity to get started. The definitive edition that came with it allows me to play Halo Wars on my Xbox One. We need more games like this. I enjoy the opportunity to plan operations and not so much into first person shooter games.

If you like RTS games, you'll like this one! Played with my son and it's good to have a co-op option. We progressed through about half of it and enjoy working together to outsmart the AI. The solo play option really makes you think about how to build a better army.

While Halo Wars 2 is a good game by itself, it left some of the better qualities with the original. It also added a game mode to attempted to monetize the game beyond the initial purchase which seems greedy.

Great strategy game for console players. It is easy to get into and play with friends. Game can be a little easy for strategy veterans but it is a nice starting point for beginners. Great cut scenes help round out the package.

The game is fun out of the box, and the ultimate edition offers more content with monthly addons via the season pass and also playing Halo Wars Definitive Edition. Overall, it provides hours of fun and great content.

My son and I have been huge fans of the original came for years, and this one was much anticipated. It's much better than we thought it'd be and are having a lot of fun playing it for long periods. Good replay value.

While I am a longtime Halo fan, and enjoyed the original Halo Wars, this game was for my son. I have not yet played it. His reaction to the game, however, has been very positive and he enjoys playing it with his friends.

Playing a RTS game on a console can be nearly impossible, not to mention low selection to choose from, but here we have one that plays well with a game pad. There may be some input lag, but not enough to ruin your fun.

If you love any Halo game before, you'll love this awesome one as well. You will not be disappointed, Halo wars 2 has all the goodies from the first one and more. A plus is the better video quality as well !

Don't let the funny ads fool you, this game has tons of substance to match its style. If you liked the first game, you'll love 2, and if you didn't play the first game...the Ultimate edition includes it!

Visually stunning game with incredible looking cutscenes. Even if you're new to real time strategy games, you'll learn quick and have fun! Also comes with remastered version of first Halo Wars game.

I really enjoy playing this game. I love playing strategy games and I'm glad Halo Wars was created. I know it's not like a PC strategy but for being on a consol it's put together well. Great game!

On the SP side, the campaign is fairly short and first two chapters definitely lack interesting missions. There are a few tower defense-ish toss in between but the types of units and buildings aren't really geared towards that. I haven't had the motivation to do more than one mission a night. The main push, as you can see on the main menu, is to get you to play multiplayer and, in particular, the microtransaction driven Blitz mode. Blitz is okay, but I really don't play much MP in games and it didn't change that. Decent game but if you are looking for SP just wait for a sub $30 price.
