Better control than gas and it cooks more evenly. We have a 12" frying pan with a 10" base that works well on it.

Did not really find any issues I can complain for. Still giving 4 stars because its fan does sound quite a bit. Its little louder but does not annoy as such. Overall a great product.

Needless to say I loved it. I am now cooking on an induction range. If you are interested in induction cooking and aren’t sure try this first.

I got an induction cookware kit and could only use 2 out of 5 of the Pots and Pans for this. My guess is because they were smaller than the inner ring or lined up with it which was too small since it moved out of alignment while cooking. Other than that it works great.

Have fried and boiled using this with success. Do need to watch pot for overflow of oatmeal if setting too high. But easy cleanup.
