To remedy this occurrence, we would recommend that you complete the cleaning procedure noted in the use and care manual. We sincerely regret hearing that your coffee maker lasted just over 12 months and has now exceeded the warranty period. Hamilton Beach products are designed and tested to last much longer than the warranty period. We would like you to contact us so we can find out how your coffeemaker malfunctioned, and perhaps offer some assistance with a new replacement. So please contact us at [email protected] and be sure to include a copy of this response along with you Model number, series number (both found on the bottom of your unit), and a description of the problem.
