Customers are saying
Customers are delighted by the FlexBrew 12-Cup Coffee Maker's brewing speed, ease of use, and ability to make both single-serve cups and full carafes. Many appreciate its affordable price and improved design. However, some users find the water reservoir placement inconvenient and the brewing process somewhat noisy. The single-serve function's water reservoir may not always empty completely.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a gift to me from my sweet heart and boy did he give me the greatest gift. I am huge coffee drinker and this satisfy me 100%. I am able to put on a pot for entertaining or just for a cup for me to drink on my way to work or weekend mornings on my porch. You can’t go wrong with this machine because the coffee taste great from each side .

Poor customer service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a question about Kcup and the maximum 10 oz. capacity. After trying 3 different times to reach Hamilton Beach to ask, I finally spoke with someone today. She was very unfriendly, impersonal and didn't seem to care. I asked how the machine could take only 10 oz for a kcup but up to 14 oz for other methods, such as using my own coffee. She kept stating that "it would overflow" and that was that. How does the machine know I have a kcup in as opposed to using my own coffee - in other words, why would it overflow? She could not explain this to me and didn't care. Not happy when I hung up.

Typical for Hamilton Beach
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Started leaking after warranty. The screws are tripronged and although I got most of them out with a small flat head, one, was so soft that it striped even with my neighbors tripronged screwdriver. The price of these continue to go up. Although it was nice having the three brewers in one, hose disconnect is common place for hamilton beach so, I will be shopping for a brand that will last long enough that I dont have to buy another one.

Great until it leaks.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this coffee maker! However, there is a defect with some of these. There is a silicone tube that runs up from the boiler and attaches to the drip arm assembly inside the reservoir top right. This is only reachable by removing the bottom, sides, and rear panels. Some parts snap together, and some screws are hidden under the snap in panels. The tube will slip down over time because the little spring clamp is too weak. That allows the water to run down the inside and all over the counter. I replaced it with a stainless screw type clamp. Working great now.

Great dual coffee machine
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am thrilled with this purchase.i was hesitant because Hamilton Beach is a lower quality product usually, but everything works. I've tried all three methods. The only downside is that it's a little slower than I'd like.

Does not flex anything
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a dream coffee maker for the first month. I didn’t open it until my old coffee maker died so it was in the box about 6 months. It was great for about 4 months but it stoped brewing so, I watched a video, did a little troubleshooting and still nothing. I had to wait to call HB when I had a day off, they don’t do weekends. They told me I had too much reservoir, not sure how sunce it should all empty into my cup or pot right? Every time I use it it tells me over over filled the reservoir now. If it does this to you here’s what you do: unplug it and turn it upside down in your sink to empty it. Again, not sure why it doesn’t use all the water I put in it. Then it should work. By the time I got to the store to return it it was one year and I couldn’t. HB doesn’t let Bestbuy take their returns after one year like other companies do. I’m sure it’s a lovely coffee maker for some but if yours isn’t 100% exchange it sooner than later

Great at FIRST...NOW???
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.8/1/2018 This was the best coffee maker we'd ever owned...for 10 months!?! Today, it started leaking from the hot water passage, and dumped a 12 cup load all over the counter and the kitchen floor. We are not happy at all! Now, we've found that warranty service in the USA is for a year (Canada has a 5 year warranty?); but we must bear all expenses for getting it to/from HAMIILTON BEACH! Their product is defective, I've already paid for it, but they insist that I pay even more for their failure to manufacture a suitable product?? Of course, Best Buy offers no help because we bought it in September of '17. Buyer Beware on this one!!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT PURCHASE THIS! At first, it works great/as advertised. HOWEVER, within a short time (as little as two weeks, in some cases), the water line comes loose from INSIDE the machine, and depending on how much water you have in there, IT WILL FLOOD YOUR COUNTER AND RUIN ANYTHING IN ITS PATH. I know this, because it happened to me. My brand new house withstood the force of a category five hurricane, but couldn't stand up to this coffee maker. The water dripped down the front of my brand new kitchen drawers, ruining them, after less than a year of use. The issue is an inferior hose clamp inside the machine. It simply slides off, allowing water to spill out from within. THE COMPANY HAS BEEN AWARE OF THIS ISSUE SINCE AT LEAST 2015. And despite continued complaints, they continue to sell this product without fixing the issue. So buy this at your own risk.

Taste of plastic
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Kerig finally quit and I thought this would be perfect to replace it and my small carafe coffee pot I use frequently. Even though it didn't have a reservoir, my wife brought up fact that we would have fresh water each cup we make!! Made first K-cup for her and as soon as I opened top to do another for me I smelled burnt plastic, at this same time she said she tasted plastic in her coffee. I put fresh water through several times and even used vinegar to clean and still plastic. Nothing on website or FAQ's for this problem. I'll be bring back today

Don't waste your money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keep having to clean needle daily on single side. I clean as instructed. I run it through the dishwasher. Still during each use it gets clogged and I have to clean it again. Reservoir doesn't always empty completely on the single side. What a waste of $. Back to the Keurig we go.

Don't Buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very poor coffee maker. I like the water scale on the side of the maker, very convenient positioning compared to other coffee makers. Now the bad. Regardless of the type of grind you use, the water overflows the coffee basket, leading to grinds in your coffee. Other makers have this occasionally, but this maker it happens more often than naught. The coffee is not hot, it is more like the temperature after you have left your coffee cup for 10 minutes. You have to microwave all of your additional cups. The so called "thermal" carafe is just a plain metal carafe, it does not really keep the coffee warm. Also, the carafe does not pour properly. I have never experience a carafe that poured like this one. You actually have to put the spout of the carafe into the cup to avoid spillage on to your counter. I have not used the single cup feature of this maker. My maker is only 3 months old, but I am going to buy a replacement.

K-cup function DOES NOT a work!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved the idea of being able to brew a full pot, single cup and even the K-cups. However the K-cup function NEVER worked properly. The k-cup would explode creating a mess and wasting the entire k-cup. When contacting the customer service, was told it could be water that’s too soft, adhesive not strong enough to hold foil top to plastic cup, or it could be poor production of the k-cups. (I tried 8 different brands!!!). So now I am left with a coffeemaker that only functions properly on one half of the machine. Definitely a poor decision to purchase this product.

Avoid this thing!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since we purchased this thing, about every 3rd cup we try to brew using a variety of K-cups has resulted in grounds and water everywhere. It is not the K-cup because it doesn't consistently do this with a specific one. It is not the amount of water as we have been careful not to overfill. I will be returning this and going back to a Keurig.

Defective product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had seen the reviews about this machine leaking but decided to give it a try anyway. I really liked it at the beginning but then started to notice water on my counter. I had this coffee maker for 4 months and it started to leak from the bottom and it ended up damaging my countertop. BUYER BEWARE!
