Purchased specifically for the thermometer feature as my previous Crock Pot brand model had all the same features but not a thermometer to insure minimum internal meat cooking temps were reached. Gives me piece of mind now. Hope to try a whole chicken and a meatloaf recipe I found on Pinterest soon besides my usual roasts. Love coming home to a warm meal!

have used 4 or 5 times since we got and every meal has turned out very good.... most notable mention was a london broil.... not typically a tender piece of meat... literally so tender .... take the time to read the simple instructions and watch the video on line... enjoy!

Love the temperature probe and functions on this crockpot.

I did a bunch of research before purchasing this crock pot. The dual temperature settings as well as a warm setting are very useful. I appreciate the use of the meat probe to determine when the meat is done so the crock pot switches to warm and doesn't over cook my meat. The snaps to hold the lid on while traveling are very secure as well.

I love how easy it is to use. I've had a Crock pot brand slow cooker and I like the oval shape of this Hamilton Beach slow cooker better, it's perfect for 3-4 pound Chuck roasts without having to layer.
