With my old Slow Cooker I had to have a independent timer plugged into the wall and hope that I had set everything correctly and be worried that it would actually turn on and off when it was supposed to. With this new one, though, I have no fears that I am going to either over or under cook something. It makes cooking stock and stews SO much easier. My husband and I both work until 9pm so by the time we get home there is usually no way that either of us is going to start cooking at that hour. I can prepare things before I leave for work and know that all I have to do when I get home is plate and prepare a salad. It really has made my life so much easier (and healthier now that I am not tempted to grab some fast food on the way home!)

I love the size it is not to big. Easy to wash and the timer is easy to read.

Cooks food perfectly. Fun appliance. Easy to use and portable for travel.

Love that I can set the thermostats in meat and it will stop cooking and keep warm so you don't dry it out. Love the latches on the side

When my first Hamilton Beach Slow cooker finally gave up the ghost, I was afraid I would not be able to find one to replace it. Low and behold Best Buy has the same one that I lost. I love my slow cooker. I make my family of 8 dinner every Monday night a this slow cooker makes a lot of those meals. From bean soup to stews. It is the tops.

Easy to use. Great size for larger dishes. The display is great as well.

We needed a larger crock-pot for our growing family and loved the price and the features of this one. After using it last week at a family reunion multiple times with many other's of my siblings it was the best crock-pot there. We loved the locking lid for transporting as well. Overall the best one I found after doing quite a bit of research.

I wanted two things from a crock pot. 1. Bigger capacity than the base model we got as a wedding gift. 2. Flexibility to set any cook time at any temperature and have it flip to warm when done. This product delivered on both handily.

Overall, very pleased with this purchase. Mostly designed well with sturdy build (nothing will easily break off). Clean design that looks good on the countertop. Pretty easy to use and most features are intuitive. A few minor annoyances: 1) I love having the thermometer, but there is no self-sealing hole where it goes in, nor an included plug to fill the hole. That means you almost have to have the thermometer in every single time you use it (and thus, also have to clean the thermometer each time) or you'll have a hole in your lid where steam and heat will escape. 2) I love that it drops down to warm when it detects cooking is done. At the same time, the "warm" is a bit too warm, and the food continues to cook a bit too rapidly versus keeping it at a nice steady serving temperature. Since the unit insulates well, I end up turning the unit off entirely versus keeping it on warm. Wish the "warm" was also thermostat based, turning the heating element off and on versus continuous warm heat.

Great slow cooker. Like the lock down lid. Easy to use. Easy to carry.

Large size is great for family meals. And timer is good feature

Love to have supper cooked at night. Love the black crockpot. I had a white one before and it really stained with some foods.

Love being able to see the temperature reading for the slower cooker. So happy to have a new slow cooker, and works perfectly.

The multi-settings are perfect for many meals to be made. This is a fabulous addition to my kitchen, such a nice, sleek look.

This is my first slow cooker and its wonderful! I really love the size and programming capability. It's fun to throw everything in before leaving for work and having dinner all ready and delicious when returning home at the end of the day! The chicken is so juicy and tender, and I just made chili in it for the first time and family loved it!

Only cooked a 4lb roast so far with this slow cooker. It was cooked throughout evenly and was still very tender. I enjoy the simple to use push button features. This is my first slow cooker so I have no way to compare it to other ones but I am very happy with the results.

This works perfectly for me. Now I can start something in the morning and have it ready when I get home from work. Terrific!
