My computer died on Saturday night and I was frantic to get it up and running before Monday. I called Best Buy and they said I could bring it in and they would run a diagnostics to let me know what was going on. I know how to fix computers, but I don't have any of the equipment any more to troubleshoot it quickly. They discovered my fan had gone out and fixed it for an extremely affordable price in under 30 minutes. Yay!

Member gave me advice as to where to get battery and then installed it with no trouble.

I needed (or thought I needed) a new Wi-Fi card in my laptop. I ordered and was going to install it myself. Well, I got it installed, but apparently not correctly. I couldn't get a Wi-Fi signal. This was a Sunday evening, after 5pm. I called the Geek Squad, got a 5:40 appointment to have it looked and it was fixed and I was on my way by 6:15. Always very helpful!

The graphics board was fried. Dennis was able to verify it was just the nVidia card, replaced it & downloaded all of the drivers & software I needed & I was out of the store in just a little over an hour.

Stopped in to Best buy, they were very knowledgeable. As they recommended,,I ordered my needed parts online then brought my laptop back to them at best buy. My laptop was fixed in an hour and it's running like new!!

I bought a new cooling fan for my laptop, thinking I could install it myself; found out I couldn't. Took it to BB, got it back the next day. A local computer store wanted $100 for the same service, so BB was a deal. The new appointment system has a few wrinkles to be worked out (when you have an appointment to pick up, you shouldn't have to wait in line with folks returning products, etc), but overall okay.

Was having issues with slow start up on my 5 year old laptop, Geek Squad replaced with new SSD drive, it’s wicked fast now, saved me from having to purchase a new laptop

I recommend that in installing any upgrades to your P/C that can actually be done by you is to let the Pros do it . It paid off because once the upgrade was done it did not work! The P/C was switched to another new one and upgrade was installed . Works great worth the money
