I bought this optical drive to add to a computer I just bought. Now it is easier to copy cd's etc. Put it in one and burn to the other. Fast.

Quick turnaround (although I wish they would have lead me to believe it would have been done quick, I had to turn right back around to pick it up after getting back home). Service was fair (was told in store that they could not do something that was supposed to be doable by an online best buy representative). Price was a bit outrageous for the time they were working on it. Would go this route again as a last resort (was my only option being a weekend/minor holiday).

I took my old laptop for keypad replacement, They not only replaced keypad but cleaned up dust around motherboard fan. I was very happy with the service.

I had to have my computer upgraded a ram upgrade was recommended and it worked very well.

Monday morning and the computer wouldn't turn on. Took it to the Geek Squad and they had me up and running and back to work in under an hour.

Helped me select a laptop, then was able to transfer all data files from my old laptop that had crashed.

Solved our problem quickly. We only needed a battery for our desktop that controls the time and date.

Took brand new PC I had purchased from Best Buy about 3 weeks earlier in to have the power supply (PSU) upgraded from a 500W PSU to a 1000W PSU. The Geek Squad Tech who initially tried to install the new PSU didn't know what he was doing and was extremely rude. He tried to use the CPU cable for the GPU, which anyone who knows anything about computers would realize is the wrong cable. He told me I would have to get an adapter to adapt the cable to the GPU, but no such adapter exists since you can't use the CPU cable for the GPU. While I was at the counter, I called tech support for Be Quiet (PSU mfr) and the tech support person even told the Geek Squad Tech that he was using the wrong cable, but the Geek Squad Tech argued with the Be Quiet Tech and wouldn’t listen to her. I spoke with the manager and told him I didn’t want that Geek Squad Tech touching my PC, so the manager had another Tech finish the installation the following day. The Tech who finished the installation knew the difference between a CPU and VGA (GPU) cable and finished installing the new PSU in about 15 minutes. He was also much, much more professional than the first Tech I dealt with. BTW, I have used Geek Squad before to have a radar detector hardwired in my car and the two Techs I dealt with in that case were great. Unlike the Tech I mentioned above, the other two Techs who hardwired my radar detector knew what they were doing and were very professional.

I had them install a terabyte solid-state hard drive. It should’ve been installed when it was built from the factory.
