I could have done this upgrade myself, but the amount of time it would have taken to do it was not worth the 39.99 that the Geek squad charged to swap out the SSD drive in my HP Envy laptop. The laptop has to be pried apart to replace the SSD. Not worth the time. Just use a pro to do it.

I had a liquid cooler installed on my pc using Geek Squad. They got it put in much quicker than they said they would, and did a really good job with it!

Installed parts for my gaming PC and got it ready in around 2 days. Would recommend!

My son’s computer started acting strange, so we took it into Geek Squad. It did take awhile to figure out exactly what the issue was, but thankfully they were able to figure it out and fix the problem. I was worried that we’d have to go directly to the manufacture. Glad that didn’t happen! Computer works great now!

Service was excellent! Professional and fast! I needed to have more RAM added to my laptop. The gentleman who helped me was great!

Trevor was helpful from first contact. He fixed one of the problems immediately and he knew what he needed to order to fix the speed. When I came back in I waited while her finished and immediately when he started up the computer I knew everything was much better.

The diagnostic for my dead piwersource was $100 and install was a reasonabke amount. I have squaretrade so the whole thing was covered. I coyld have probably done the piwersource install myalef but the pc manufacturer ran the cords in a very tight spot and if I paid for the coverage I might as well use it.

I had Geek Squad download everything from my old desktop to my new one. It was done extremely fast and efficient.

I was having trouble with my monitor going out. I took some pictures of the screen as it was rebooting. The Geek Squad technician looked over the pictures, listened to me, did not make me feel like I was stupid, verified what I thought was the problem, and made a recommendation of a product to fix the problem. The installation was done in a very timely manner, considering it was Thanksgiving weekend (read Black Friday).

I am very please with the service we got from geek squad. I was able to walk in and get service. I had no clue that an appointment was needed to get new hardware installed. The tech was awesome. Allowed me to drop off and come back in an hour. I am so thankful that a slot opened up for me to come in and get this taken care of.

The Geek Squad installed a new power supply (ordered separately) for me. After the installation, some power switch issues appeared. It is unlikely that the switch issues had anything to do with the power supply installation, but when I returned the computer to Best Buy, the Geek Squad guy investigated the problem and remedied it (switch housing was loose) without complaint or extra charge. I was VERY HAPPY with Best Buy's willingness to perform follow-up service.

The guy that helped me was very quick and explained a lot to me, while switching the graphics card around. Now i know how to do it myself.

Geek Squad agent was knowledgeable about the hardware needed and patiently answered all my "idiot user" questions as I made sure I understood what, why and how much. Once i authorized the work, it was ready in record time. Thank you, Geek Squad.

The agents discovered that the noise that I was hearing from my machine was not from the power supply but was from the video card. The video card was ordered and the agents installed it and tested my machine before returning it to me to ensure that the noise was gone.

I had Geek Squad put a 2 TB SSD into my new computer that came with a 256 MB SSD. They did an excellent job and the computer works fine afterward. They were friendly and helped me get the job done.
