This is a fantastic portable blue tooth speaker Perfect for a party outside or for a motor home trip! The sound is fantastic!! We love it!

I am a pro audio live and recording engineer for national acts for over 40 years. For those of you who may not know: Harmon is the parent company for JBL, Electrovoice, dbx and more in the pro-audio industry. They make superb quality products. I first heard an earlier version of this (Onyx), and it sounded great. I use it on my pontoon boat. You may need to have an adjustable output from your Bluetooth source to avoid distortion. An inexpensive in line headphone volume control would do. Cellular phones don't seem to have that problem, but TV RCA non regulated outputs might. If you are just using this for a music speaker, remember that a wired 3.5m cable is always your best bet!

Onyx studio II is easy to pair and the sound base and quality is just about right. It isn't to blast off sound but is plenty loud to fill the room and the sound is crisp with enough bunch. it is little bulky to move from room to room but it's doable. I am glad with g purchase under $200 it's price just right and is well worth it.

I bought this for my boyfriend. The first thing you could notice about this "portable" speaker is that it is heavier than any other portable speaker out there, but for a good reason. The sound and bass sound of this device is comparable to that of a full size speaker. I turned it to maximum to test the sound quality and immediately regretted it. It's a big no-no for a small room. High clarity and worth the price you pay for. Plus when you don't use it, you can always use it as a hand weight to work out.

I dont have plan to buy this speaker until one of the associate told me to try it. it was awesome i decided to buy it immediately. never regret of my decision. the only drawback is the battery time.

It's hard to believe how great this speaker sounds. I would highly recommend it, I haven't found anything I like any better.
