This item is just bad - No its not the music quality that I am talking about but the way its made - the legs that hold the main round speaker fell apart within a few days - they are held by a small single screw. Actually they didnt fall away - they snapped in two. Do not buy this product and given the quality of its manufacturing maybe u should not buy any product made by the Harmon boys. Better to buy an analog radio and listen to it for years.

this speaker had all the bass and volume but what it don't have is battery life, that's the sad part

This Harmon Kardon speaker was amazing for the first 1 1/2 years, then all of sudden it started dropping off the bluetooth connection. The power button would flash even when the power cable was plugged in. From what I have read, this is a common occurrence for this model.

This speaker compared to the JBL Pulse 2 has great and better sound quality its bigger but the sound is more clear and has more base to give it a better tone to it the only problem i have with this speaker is knowing how much battery life it has left and when to stop charging since it doesnt have any lights indicating battery life its died on me twice at a kick back since i never know how much life it has left but other than that its worth its money ive already had a friend try and buy it from me the first time he heard it

MY FIRST HK ONYX SPEAKER HAD TO BE RETURNED TO BEST BUY BECAUSE I COULDN'T GET IT TO PAIR WITH MY PHONE, BUT EVER SINCE ITS BEEN PURE BLISS! THE SOUND IS OUTSTANDING, THE BASS WILL RATTLE YOUR HOME, IF YOU ARE INTO THAT KIND OF THING, WHICH I AM NOT! THE HIGHS AND LOWS ARE CRISP. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Got this for my husband for Christmas and the sound is crisp, clear and loud. Sounds 100% better than a Bose soundlink III! We have used this to listen to movies that we stream on the computer and WOW, sounds great. The base is deep and the speaker doesn’t rattle or sound muffled as other speaker do. This is well worth the money!

Best bluetooth speaker I have ever owned. Sounds even better when you plug into it vs using the bluetooth connection. Go ahead and test all the other bluetooth speakers around it on display at best buy... it wins! The only problem you will have is the bass rattling whatever is sitting around the speaker! Definitely worth the money!

Beautiful sound and clean bass. Actually has some kick if you put it in a corner! LOVE this speaker. TIP (for iOS): It has a mic that connects by default. If using Siri to play songs, there's a Bluetooth icon bottom right on the Siri screen. You can select Onyx or iPhone mic there, and it stays until you disconnect/reconnect.

Was shopping around black friday and saw this little guy for 150.00. Thought about it and decided to drop the $$ for it. Overall, great sound for the money. Only caveat i would say is that when you unplug it from the charger the volume kinda gives away a little bit. Other than that though, not bad little speaker for the price.

I am very impressed with this speaker. I got it on clearance thinking it would be a decent speaker from a well known brand. After trying it out I can say for sure that Harman Kardon has definitely kept their reputation for making great sounding speakers. Bluetooth works well and battery life is close to the 5 hours stated. The bass and general audio quality is much better than the average Bluetooth speaker and there is no distortion right up to the max volume level.

's?At first I was skeptical. What kind of circle could fill my entire house with sound better than a set of quality speakers that my family has had since the early 90's? The Onyx Studio 2 is just that circle. My ears reached Cloud 9 faster than my cat's liver failed after eating a chocolate bar. I know...that is fast. It made my ears happy.

Awesome speaker, well worth the money. Great sound quality, and even better bass!! use it at home and at work. Gets the place rockin'... thinking about buying a second one.

Found this at my local Best Buy, it was on sale. As the associate was describing the speaker any associate that walked by commented on how great this speaker was. Some said they had the same speaker themselves. That alone was a convincer,I figured who could appriciate this speaker more than the people who had access to many different brands. Took it home, was easy to connect to my device. No matter the volume, there is no distortion in the treble,mid,or bass range. This speaker has clean,clear,robust sound,it also looks very handsome in my living room. If you're looking for a speaker,you can't go wrong with this one.

The speaker sounds great, especially at this price point. However, don't expect to get five hours of battery life, so make sure you have a plug nearby to keep it running.

Sucks when it is not plugged to chord!! Doesnt hold its charge!! Sounds amazing when plugged to outlet.

Real great sound quality and solid bass! It makes you enjoy your music with every detail! The only thing I don't like is the battery life. It runs out very fast, maybe less than 30 mins, if you have high volume.

I am not one to do reviews but this speaker is amazing! It will fill a nice size room and easy to setup and operate. I had no intentions on making this purchase but one of the best ones this year! Well worth it!

The Harman Kardon Onyx 2 speaker sounds awesome! I heard it in the store and knew I had to have it. It sounds even better at home. I'm using it as my main home stereo speaker and leave it plugged in so can't attest to the battery life but am thrilled with how it sounds. Very rich and clear. I don't necessarily care for the shape of it but definitely not a deal breaker. So glad I purchased it!

This has a great sound, great controls and is easy to use and set up. Everyone that has seen it has asked me where I got it because they instantly want it. Definitely recommend.
