Was well worth it. I didn't have to hassle with disposing of the old washer and dryer. Quick and easy. This was a "yes" moment.

We had scheduled haul-away and install for the same day. (We had received the unit a few days earlier. It could not be installed at that time due to plumbing issues, which were fixed by this time.) We even got an email from Best Buy indicating that the service that was scheduled for that date and that time would include both elements. When the truck showed up, the drivers were confused, as their "orders" told them ONLY to install, and they said they had zero room on the truck to haul-away. Furthermore, they seemed quite adamant about coming into the house and doing the install regardless of not hauling-away first. Needless to say, I did not even let them in. Since the install couldn't happen without the haul-away happening first, they got back in their truck, called their supervisor, and left. The supervisor contacted me with a bad attitude, blaming me as though I had no right even to have someone haul-away the old unit - and she only backed down when I reminded her that I had PAID for that service, and then she was like "oh...." I got a second call later on from another supervisor, who re-scheduled both the haul-away and the install for the same time later that day. When this second set of drivers (different from the first) came later that day, THEY were confused, as they expected only to haul-away and not install. (Opposite from the first drivers.) They were also genuinely surprised to learn that the first truck had even been sent at all, since it was too full to do the haul-away. But, this second set of drivers did do both parts, and they did them without complaint and professionally and with a helpful and friendly attitude. So, I give this whole rating three stars - one star for the first truck and their supervisor, and five stars for the second truck (who were friendly and accommodating) and their supervisor.

You ever try to haul an old dishwasher to the dumpster? It's generally NOT free: you will be paying the county or city for accepting your defective old device. Also: picking up a huge dishwasher and putting it into your trunk is NOT fun. Honestly this is a bargain and I highly recommend you pay for this service. Best Buy delivers + picks up your stuff, and boom. End of headache. Don't think about it: just do it.
