Great as a PVR tuner

I use it on a PVR system that I have built and have had no problems at all with it.

Pair with Plex or Kodi and cut the cord. I don't use the app because of this so I can't weigh in on that.

Replaced a dual and got even better signal

Posted .Except on the edges, the previous generation CONNECT and EXTEND really should do just about the same as the current generation DUO and QUATRO. Far more important is normally going to be the kind of antenna you have. In fact, if you do buy a DUO or QUATRO, we wholehearted recommend continuing to use your CONNECT or EXTEND in addition, so you end up with more tuners. If you are finding that the QUATRO gets some channels better, you can always force your old EXTEND to simply not use those channels. Visit my.hdhomerun.com, go to the EXTEND channel line up, and check the box next to the channel twice. Once favorites the channel. Twice black lists it from that device! Fantastic cord cutting tool

I have multiple FireStick TVs and an Apple TV and they all are able to receive signal using various apps available to access the HDHOMERUN on the home network.

This works great

I get local TV channels in HD from the antenna and internet for the rest.

Weak Reception

Works very well

I've used 4 wireless devices simultaneously with this to test it and I can get HD on all 4 devices with no issue so works great. Definitely a must for cord-cutting !

Works Great

They have performed flawlessly and I have never had any issues. Highly recommended!

Great TV home solution

I installed my router and the HDhomerun in a room were my OTA antenna received the best reception and now I get the most channels on my living room TV using my Nvidia Shield TV.

Posted .I think this review might be for a different product. HDHomeRun devices do not clean floors. They do a lot of cool things, but floor cleaning is generally not considered one of them.

Streaming local TV is easy

Posted .One of our proudest achievements is the ability to give users choice, from the kinds of hardware they use to the kinds of software they use. They can use our HDHomeRun apps, but they can also use Plex or Emby or Channels or a haf dozen other apps if they want to. You can do whatever makes the most sense FOR YOU!

Great for OTA and Plex

Manage through Plex as the HDHomeRun app has issues on occasion. Wish the app could be used for setup and tuning or have a mobile app.

Good tuner but didn’t work for me.

Posted .Sorry to hear that about the picture quality. HDHomeRun devices deliver the least compressed 720p and 1080i video quality in the industry, so it should typically be quite good, but if you need to transcode or change it in some way in Plex, it is possible that will reduce the quality, depending on which transcoder you are using. It is also possible to get recordings from non-HD channels, like a 12.2 or something, that will not look nearly as good. Though with Plex (and the official HDHomeRun app) it is possible to limit channels to only those that deliver in HD.

Great for Cord Cutters
