Hisense QD5 review

Google interface is very busy and clumsy to navigate. Sound from internal speakers is poor, but that is typical. Haven't been to impressed with Hisense in the past, but seems like they are becoming a strong contender.

Google TV is crap.

I would have bought another tv without the GoogleTV. I have to unplug this tv just to record my shows or this smart tv shuts it down and no recording.

Slow, slow, and slow

Picture quality is average. You definitely get what you pay for with this one. We bought for kids room for movies and cartoons. Would recommend trying something else.

rejected my directv streaming devices

AVOID, TV turns on in the middle of the night

Howver, i would not recommend. The tv turns on by itself in the middle of the night, usally twice. Apparently this is a common issue with this brand, which i found out after a quick google search. Based on what others have said this happens when you have a device plugged into the tv (i.e. apple tv). It does not seem like there is a solution to the problem other than unplugging the TV everynight , which is not ideal. Unfortunately, i bought this tv and mounted it and threw out the box so i dont think Best Buy will let me return it, but I’m still going to try.

Decent budget TV, but there are better options
