Great BUT

Once I turned it off and turned it back on again it was fine but kind of concerning considering I had only had it 2 weeks

I would have expected better

People I'm talking too complain of background noise. Battery life is good. I'm tough though cause I'm coming from a Bose headpiece which they don't make anymore.

Android tv?

Called customer support and they told me Hisense was an android tv so mirroring my computer to the tv wasn't an option. There is an app for your phone. Catch is it has to be an android. No app for iPhones. Best Buy needs to update their description and note that this is an android tv. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew. Ended up returning it.

Qiewview app slow to connect

Not worth the cost

The brightness is good the color settings are awesome but there is alot of noise in the picture. I returned it after 3 days.The tv does show promise but they are still not there yet. They need to improve.

Stunning Picture and Sound!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been wanting to upgrade my old Vizio 720p TV so I have been shopping around and reading a ton of online reviews. I kept coming across the reviews for Hisense TV's on Best Buy site and on Amazon. Almost all of them were 4-5 star ratings. I had never heard of this brand. I also looked up TVs on Consumer Reports and noticed that the Hisense had high reliability ratings from CR. So I spent some time shopping at the Best Buy store near me and the salesperson was so helpful. He confirmed that many have been raving about the Hisense TVs. So I took a chance...this 50" 4K version was on sale for $399...hardly could go wrong for that price. I got the TV home - set up was so simple. The reviews were right....the picture on this TV is stunning...particularly when streaming 4K from YouTube. The sound is also a complete surprise - the best TV speakers I have ever heard! Now if you want window-rattling bass when watching a movie, get a sound bar with sub-woofer but these speakers will do great for most people in all but the most demanding sound situations trust me...they are that good! I cannot believe how good this TV is for such a great price - the unusual 4-year warranty gives me some hope that it will be reliable....If you are wanting to get an incredible 4K TV without breaking the bank - GET THIS ONE!

Hisense, a strong brand

I purchased this TV Jan 22, 2017 (almost 8 years ago) and it has held up great. Its 2024 now so it doesnt have the hdmi 2.1, 120hz refresh rate, anti glare or new things that tvs have now a days, but it still works good. I actually just purchased the Hisense QD5 only because its currently on sale. Dont let people talk you into certain brands sucking and not being up to par. All tvs of each brand have issues, its just a crap shoot. Maybe I just got lucky. Hisense is a top brand that is here to stay along with Samsung, Sony, and LG. Are they better then them? Maybe not, but im happy the tv industry isny monopolized by three companies. God bless

Okay for one month

not really 4k

Defective tv

When I opened the box, the TV did not work at all. I had a hard time convincing Best Buy to replace it. Eventually, they refunded my money. In the beginning, I was referred to Hicense. they were not helpful at all, and would not do anything for me. If they agree to give me the same deal, I will try to buy it again. I have a 65 inch Hicense, and I am very happy with it.

Great tv

However YouTube will not display video, just audio. I contacted the manufacture and they supplied an update file. Didn't work. That's why I only gave 1 star.
