    I was skeptical of the brand and price. I can't believe how incredible this TV looks. Very bright and clear. The sound is better than any other slim TV I've ever heard. I'm a very picky person, and Me and my family are very pleased . Shocked really. I made a smart decision. You will not be disappointed.

    I've had this TV for exactly 12 months and 19 days, and everything was working fine until yesterday morning when all of the sudden the remote stopped working and the buttons on the back panel stopped functioning. I no longer have any sound and I can't reset the settings because I can't access the menu. My XBox still has picture, but that's it. I can't access any of the TV's apps. Unplugging the TV, changing batteries, nothing works. I've been on the phone with Hisense customer service for the past 2 days and they keep telling me that they will email me a link with instructions to upload my receipt to start the warranty process. After 2 days, I'm still waiting for the email. If they can fix my issue, then I'll gladly change this to a 5 star review because I really like the TV and the value, but it's only a year old and it already needs work. Super frustrated.

    About 10-12 years ago I bought a 50" Samsung plasma TV (1080P) for about $2400. Fast forward to today... $400 for a 55" 4K TV? How low can they go? Hisense might not be a top brand but for $400 you can't go wrong.

    Very happy with this tv. I never heard of hisense but decided to try considering the reviews. Got it for $399 on sale and I am very impressed. It's sharp and colors are vibrant. The smart tv features are also pretty good. The cons are the black levels are not same as Samsung and the off angle viewing is not great. All things considered this is an amazing value for the price!!

    Great TV but need to turn off HDMI dynamic range

    I connect a fireTV box to this TV. When the HDMI dynamic range is on, the screen looks grey-ish. You have to turn it to limited/off to make the black looks black. Otherwise great TV.

    no pic but nice. I bought a refurbished tv on ebay for about $70 more same size 55" Hisense 4k smart. couldn't be happier

    So we bought this tv back at the end of March of this year and it’s been great so far except YouTube stopped loading a couple months ago, and This afternoon we were watching a college football game and all of the sudden verticals lines went across the screen and the tv won’t return to a regular picture anymore no matter what I put we are on and we can’t watch the smartv apps. We didn’t save the receipt after we got it all hooked up and the tv was active and working. To top it off we didn’t get insurance on the tv because who thinks that you will really need it when you are purchasing a new product. This is something we shouldn’t have to worry about, at least for the first couple of years of owning it.

    Easy set up and great picture. However, after 4 hours lost picture but still had Netflix, etc. Thought it was problem with Directv so they came out. None of the inputs would accept Directv pictureanymore and not a Directv issue.. Then remote acted up and next streaming was gone. Now, can't even get TV to turn on. So completely shot after about 4 hours of use. It's going back to BB.

    Youtube app doesnt work

    Bought this tv last November brand new. YouTube worked great on the app for the first few months then stopped. Just continuously buffers until you die of madness. Everything else works. Amazon. Netflix etc so its the tv. Called hisense and they said google did an update that change something or whatever and its not going to work. well don't buy it then.
