    I've been a Samsung proponent for years but with a 5 year old LED tv that just stopped working out of the blue- I quickly rescinded my stance. My cousin in Italy told me about Hisense and how well it's rated in Europe and virtually unknown in the U.S. I took a chance and couldn't be more satisfied with my Hisense purchase- and excellent and economical purchase.

    This was a replacement for an LG49U6030 that I had for just a year and 4 months (backlight blew producing blank screen with sound). Had not considered Hisense but was convinced with comparison of features of different brands I expressed interest in. Installation/setup was a breeze and anticipate a better experience than with previous models.
