I am a value shopper and was sold on this TV because it was the best for the price. I was a bit hesitant to buy a TV from a company that I am not Familiar with (HISENSE) but the Best buy sales man told me that Hisense was very comparable to Samsung. I do not know if this is true but the TV itself works and looks great. the sleek look is an added bonus. The remote has pretty cool features such as direct Youtube, HULU, and netflix buttons. The only problem I have had is with Netflix --for a couple of days Netflix would not connect . I did some research on Google and found that this is a common problem with this TV but it also has a simple solution. Overall I am happy with the purchase and will probably buy another of the same for the Game room in the future.

We did a Warner’s change out. Our particular model wasn’t in stock so we weee able to pick the tv of our choice. We paid a prorated price for the new tv. It is well worth the insurance we paid not to have to pay full price for the new one we got. Love the color, sound and that we can see it from all angles no glare.

The picture is crystal clear, the sound is so good, we aren't even using our soundbar with it because it's better without. You can't beat the price for all the options it has, also it's light and easy to hang.

I had been searching for a new 2160p/4k TV (50" or larger) after my 2 year old Sharp/Roku TV just stopped working. I didn't want to spend much more than $699.99, wanted a TV that was at LEAST 50" in size, and had integrated/seamless application built into the TV itself.
I narrowed my choices down to the 50" Vizio Home Theater 2160p TV ($679.99), a 50" LG 2160p (and a 120hz refresh rate) TV ($699.99) or a Hisense(?!?!?) 55" 2160p/4K TV ($549.99!).
The Hisense price looked too good to be true (Best Buy also has a 50" 2160p/4K TV available for $499.99), but after reading the CNET/Amazon/Best Buys verified reviews, and ensuring the TV was setting-friendly (my last TV (the Sharp/Roku) had next to no settings that the user was able to change) - which this TV most definitely is!
Don't let the lesser-known brand name scare you off - this TV packs just as big as a punch as any on the LG/Vizio tier, and at nearly 20% off their prices!
The applications (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) on the internal storage in the TV run faster than they do even on my PS4. Four HDMI inputs (2 on the left side (if you are looking at it from the front) of the TV, and two on the back left side of the TV) are more than I had on a recent Samsung TV). You can turn the backlighting off (if you want a stable color), or you can leave it on if you want the screen color to adapt to lighting changes in the room where you are viewing. The TV also has a "game mode" which makes controller input lag non-existent), - and the TV itself weighs only a hair over 30lbs (which is on the low side of average for TV's of this size).
All in all - at least go to a store location that is showing the Hisense 2160p/4K TV off, you owe it to yourself to give this new (?) company a chance - they've certainly made sure I'll be putting them at the top of the list for my next TV purchase.

If you compare pictures side by side in the store with the other popular brands, this one stands out as better on clarity, and overall picture quality. Hisense actually makes 3 trim levels of 55's and the top 2 carry 4 year warranties. I would have considered the other two (adding a warranty extension on the base level model), but couldn't find them in stock anywhere and didn't want to back order. I bought the top model because I could go pick it up at Best Buy and get it right away - at a good price. I need to switch to HD input now to take full advantage of its capabilities.

It works. The 4k gaming with HDR! It works on this tv! You just have to go to settings on the TV and select enhanced HDMI output and turn on HDR, etc on the ps4 pro. It is a great TV - does everything... and it is a GREAT price. comes also with 4 year warranty.

It's a pretty good TV for the price. Picture out of the box wasn't bad at all.
Only HDMI inputs 3-4 are HDMI 2.0a 4k @60hz
4k content looks great. Lower resolution is soft and this TV doesn't offer the upscaling processor of Sony or Samsung quality but that is obvious by the price.
I returned mine because input lag for gaming @ 4k is in the 60ms range. Hopefully Hisense will adress this with future firmware.
If you're on a budget and just want to stream netflix and amazon this TV is great.

We have so enjoyed our new TV from Best Buy. We went in looking for a smaller TV but as we noticed how great the prices were, we felt confident buying a much larger one. It has wonderful quality of picture and sound and we noticed the difference right away from our previous TV. It seems as if the people and places are popping off the screen with the 4K Ultra HD. We highly recommend this HiSense TV which was easy to install and provides great entertainment, even though we don't even use cable/satellite with it. We don't need to as we can access all our shows from streaming sites like Hulu, Amazon Prime, and Netflix. We can even watch videos on YouTube right from the television. We are thrilled with the TV!

This monitor/TV is insane at how well the picture looks. I am saying this is better than most Samsungs and LGs. I cannot believe how well the picture is and smooth during high action shots. The monitor/TV has very useful features that I know are not truly understanding when read. The smart part of this monitor/TV is the fact it has APPs for everything you could need or want to watch. Their App Store is on par with Apple's and Google Play. And I literally mean that. I could not believe how many things are available for this monitor/TV. The one thing I find very useful and great, is the any connect. This monitor/TV will connect with any mobile or blue-tooth device like a MacBook Pro, or Windows surface Pro. I am truly blown away with this monitor/TV. I can honestly say that you will no longer need cable TV or Satellite, as there are so many Apps to watch something. One that is not listed but I have used prior to this monitor/TV is the Pluto TV app. It literally has every thing you could possibly wish to watch. So if you are looking for a new monitor/TV, this is the one to go with.

I bought a 55H8C 55'' Hisense and a the least expensive 50'' Insignia (no features) at the store. After setting them up, the Hisense was so much nicer, and a smart TV too, I returned the Insignia and bought a second 55H8C. I upgraded from a 32'' Vizio and a 40'' Sony, and I am thrilled with the change. I am a basic TV / movie watcher and feel this TV is a great buy at $500! I find the internet browsing very slow, and I have contacted Hisense to see if there is something to do about that, but otherwise extremely happy with the purchase(s)

Last year bought a 50 Inch Hisense and love it. Has an excellent picture. Had a 55 Inch Vizio and picture was dark. Replaced it with this 55 Inch Hisense and absolutely love it. It is an excellent product with a great picture. I recommend it highly. Plus the price is very good also.

This is easily the best tv I've ever owned, and with the price being what it is it shocks me even more that it's a brand I had previously not heard of. The color is amazing, 4k is great, next to no input lag while gaming (as long as it's on "Game Mode"), and even regular cable looks great.
The biggest negative for me is that there's some ghosting with darker pictures (where if you turn fast or move fast, some of the picture will leave a little trail) and for that I can't give it a full 5 stars. If they fixed that this would be one of the best budget TV's at all time...in fact it probably still is.

I was a little skeptical about this purchase at first because I was not familiar with the brand. However, it was not for our primary TV and the price was good. We brought it home and unboxed it and set it up with relative ease. I was able to connect my 4K Apple TV and a Visio 5.1 sound bar to it quickly. The menus and controls are relatively intuitive. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the picture quality for the past few months. It looks good, and the HDR really adds quality. The TV works pretty well with Visio sound bar, although sometimes Establishing the connection result in a delay. Overall I am pleased with the TV

We have been very happy with this tv in general. Although we're sure it's a step down from the top end 4K HDR tv's, it's also unfair to compare it to them because of the huge difference in price. Although the picture quality is not absolutely perfect, it's still very good. A lot of it depends on the speed of your broadband and whether the content you are watching is in 4K, etc. All in all, we're very happy that we bought this tv! It has great value and capability for its price.
