This TV is great for a budget TV. FYI for everyone buying this the HDMI 2.0 ports are 1 and 2 not 3 and 4 my PS4 pro on ports 3 and 4 it only gets 2k her when I plugged it into Port 1 it gets full 4k HDR for those having this issue. Took me a while to figure out.

The picture on the tv was superb however changing the volume on my LG soundbar kept pausing the Netflix. Also, after a few days the tv remote would have a long delay when using any of the buttons. I did not like the internet function as it was slow nor did I like not being able to customize by adding Apps that were not available on this tv.

Unfamiliar name that's okay. Picture is great, sound is great. And the warranty ,Please pay more get less. When friends come over not one as said anything about the name brand. But they do talk about the picture and the sound. How nice it is. Go ahead buy it .Did my research(4 months, drives wife crazy).

All good. Great picture, sound, remote and features. Fast access to streaming apps also. Well made, best $4XX I've ever spent! NOTE - update the firmware as soon as you establish an internet connection, store units are behind recent revisions by a bit.

Hisense has really stepped up their game with this TV. The picture is amazing and unlike other sets, the sound quality from the set is quite good. I have an 5 year old Hisense that is still going strong so I was not hesitant to buy another one.

Approx one month after buying started messing up tried to return it to Best Buy. Hisense would not allow. It is against their policy. So in saying been dealing with a tech coming to fix it twice not they are giving me 7 to 10 days to process the exchange even though the corporate office already approved the exchange. They do not stand by there word. Change things around. The company went downhill. I have been buying Hisense for years. But I will not purchase anything else from them. This has been going on for almost five months.

Love the look of the tv. Set up was easy. My main gripe is that there is no option to add Hulu. I may return it. How can you have Netflix and Amazon but no Hulu.

I'm very impressed by the quality of the TV for the price! On non-4k content the image is very bright and crisp. The majority of the content on the TV isn't 4k, so while the 4k images we have seen look good, it isn't the majority of the content being displayed. Would have liked to have had an android OS since the number of apps available would have been exponentially greater.

I bought TV for child room. I didn't want to spend $700 on a TV so my brother has smaller TV which works great. Gets job done so I thought this would be good. Only thing that is annoying is TV reacts slow to turning on or making it higher volume. But it does work just slow

    Cheap, but avoid this TV!

I was excited to get a 4K TV for such a great price! Now I regret buying this TV! I did my research and read good things about Hisense. I got home and hooked my Xbox One S up and got DirecTV's 4K box. This TV only has 2 4K HDMI ports, which I knew going in. I did not realize the lack of a 120 Hz refresh rate would effect the picture as much as it did. Issue 1: When I hooked my Xbox One S up, it was in 480p. I adjusted settings, called Hisense customer service (they blamed the issue on the HDMI cable. I bought a 4K capable HDMI cable, even though I thought I already had one. It still didn't work), Googled, etc. It turns out the current firmware doesn't support 4K for Xbox. I had to download a file to get the correct firmware from a website (Not Hisense's) for the 4K on the Xbox to work correctly. Unfortunately, I have to keep update the firmware from the flash drive the correct firmware version is on. This is in spite of auto-update being turned off. This takes about 5 minutes and I have to do it a couple times a month. I don't understand why Hisense hasn't released new firmware to fix this. Issue 2: Sometimes when I switch from the 4K HDMI port I use for my Xbox to the 4K port I use for 4K DirecTV, There is a purple tint on everything. I have troubleshot this with DirecTV, even had them come replace the 4K box. It still happens. I have to reset the whole DirecTV or reinstall the firmware to fix this. The only way the tint doesn't happen is if I shut the 4K box off while I use the Xbox. After I turn the Xbox off, I switch inputs and turn the 4K box on. Issue 3: This TV has a feature in the menu to adjust the lip sync. A lot of times, the sync gets off and you have to adjust the setting, or restart the TV. Overall, This TV is a HUGE headache! Do not buy it!!

    Terribly slow interface

    Posted .

Purchased due to the description on Hisense website and seller sites. Let me first say that the it takes SEVERAL seconds from pressing a button on the remote for the TV to respond. The interface is very slow and that was one of the most frustrating reasons for disliking the tv. The software was up to date, and there were no other electronics nearby to interfere.......What was also frustrating was that my tv is a 2017 model, and the interface looks very bland compared to pictures. Also, the energy guide on the tv is $24, but it is listed online as $21. I talked through the company website twice via online chat. They said the website and seller sites show 2016 information. When I asked why the 2017 cost more and was less friendly, one of the reps said "Is that your assumption?" She was rude and unable to provide an answer. ( I kept the transcripts as you can email yourself after the chat is over)....... She said she would email me a 2017 manual.....but never did. I emailed the company, and their response danced around my concerns..And guess what, they also forgot to attach the manual! When I finally received it after an additional reply back to them, the manual still described 2016 information! I wanted to like this tv; however the incredibly slow interface, the bland display of the interface, lack of apps, and poor costumer service resulted in me deciding to return the tv tomorrow.

    Issues

Let me be honest, the price on this TV is a definite buy, however the experience, was just awful. The first day of owning it, it ran into problems, for example, if playing my game it would glitch out and buffer and I would continue to have to restart the tv multiple times in one hour. I have decided that I cannot, go for these cheap and “affordable” TVs. You might as well spend more on the name brand reliable companies.

After trying the Vizio E55U-D2 and the Vizio E55-E2 which both had issues with going bright then dim back n fourth I tried this Hisense. I really want it to work but I'm having issues I think I'm going to take it back too while I still can. For one 4K makes everything look fake and this TV with HDR is no different. But that's not my problem. I'm running a Roku Ultra with Fios 100mbps and I'm still getting noise in the picture. When I switch inputs from 3 where the Roku is and 4 where the firestick is and switch back my Roku is all out of wack. The colors are all off and I don't think it's the Roku. I'm no TV expert but I've done a lot of research lately and I don't think it's supposed to do that. I may take the Roku back too but it does this when I've been on another input. I don't really want to mess with the warranty just yet in the first 2 weeks of owning it but I'm throwing my hands up and might go back to 1080P maybe the price range just sucks. I may not be describing it right but something is happening when I've been on another input and switch back to the Roku. I'm also getting a lot of screen noise and some supposed 4K movies just look fake on this tv. The free 4 year warranty is attractive but I shouldn't have to deal with it yet. Maybe I'll take it back and just save up I can't afford a $1000+ tv right now
