    I was hesitant to buy an offbrand TV, but this TV has great reviews so I thought I'd give it a shot. It looked great out of the box. Went to use it the next day and it wouldn't turn on. Took it back (where Best Buy couldn't get it to turn on again, either) and bought a Vizio. Well worth the $200 price difference. This TV looks even better.

    Worst TV and Support I have ever experienced

    Out of the box the remote did not work. I called Hisense Support, WHAT A DISASTER - After giving all the information all the information I was told that I had to fax or mail (Not email) a copy of the sales receipt to prove when I purchased the tv before they could even assist me. I asked to speak to a manager and the girl I was speaking to hung up on me. I am now having Best Buy pick the TV up and will purchase another more reliable brand with good customer service. Note: I called Hisense customer service on 07/13/17 at 2:10pm.

    I opened two different boxes of the 55h8c and neither of them supported hdr despite what the online specs say and the manual says. It almost looked to be a 2013 model tv due to a sticker with a different model number. When I returned the first one and opened the replacement in store, the tv guys said this tv does not support hdr. Long story short, if the price seems to good to be true, it probably is. I would rather not play roulette to try and get what's advertised. Steer clear

    PURCHASED THE TV FOR A GIFT ONLINE. FIRST MISTAKE..SHIPPING WAS A NIGHTMARE BECAUSE THEY DON'T GIVE YOU A TIME TO BE SHIPPED. UPS DROPS AND GOES. WAITED ALL DAY. NEXT THE TV NEEDS A CREDIT CARD TO SET IT UP BECAUSE IT'S A ROKU. DONT EVER PURCHASE THIS BRAND OR ANY KIND OF OTHER ROKU TV.. THE STORE IN REYNOLDSBURG TOOK VERY GOOD CARE OF THE EXCHANGE. THE NIGHT I RETURNED IT IT WAS A YOUNG LADY. SHE WAS AMAZING!! THANK YOU
