Yes, I was skeptical about a brand I had barely heard of. I did a TON of research and discovered this model was named by several websites as a top budget buy of 2016. Let's face it, you get what you pay for in a TV. But not everyone has a couple thousand dollars to drop on a television. I wanted a bigger screen (went from a 40" to a 55") and wanted something 4K compatible. I don't care about sound quality because I have a sound system, but from what I could tell, this set's speakers are above average. The picture quality is amazing, and what other manufacturer is going to give you a 4-year warranty?

The picture is excellent! The speakers are not so good so I would recommend purchasing a surround sound to go along with television.

Excellent picture, easy set up, great value. A few friends have Hisese and highly recommend it and I agree.

My husband and I purchased this TV on Black Friday. It wasn't a door buster, but was on sale for $50 off.. So we feel like we got a pretty good deal. Even without the sale, we would be pleased with our purchase. The picture is pretty amazing. Colors crisp and bright. Sound is ok, but we use it through a sound bar. I would recommend using some kind of speaker system or sound bar if you like the full theater experience. The best thing about this TV is the SMART TV functions. You can access Netflix, Amazon Prime video, etc. with just the touch of a button. Very pleased with our purchase!!!

When compared to the more well know tvs, Hisense seemed to have all of the quality with all of the components installed. Compare that to some of the so called name brands that cost more, but do not have a built in tuner. Also, when you look at the price per inch, the 55" is far better priced compared to the above 55" tvs. Just more bang for your buck, and unless you are extremely picky, not sure you would really notice anything better in the costlier brands.

I didn't go to the store to buy this product but the sales person convinced me it was a good option since the one i originally wanted was sold out. The picture quality is wonderful and the sound is also good without any speakers or subwoofer.

Hisense is a TV that I did a lot of research on before I purchased it. The features and picture quality were on part if not better than leading name brands such as Sony and Samsung. Quality product without having to pay high dollar price.

Needed a TV for our basement and did not want to go broke in the process. This TV was the right price and had all the features we wanted. It was a piece of cake to set up and was on my butt watching it within 10 minutes or less.

This tv was bought as a replacement for a 7 year old Toshiba. For the price, it had all of the features we were looking for, especially HDR. There are only 2 things I am not happy with, and when I say that, I am being extremely picky. First, I would like to have seen a 120hz panel as opposed to the 60hz that it comes with. And second, as with similar reviews, the colors tend to get a little washed out if you are sitting off at a steep angle. Other than that, I am thoroughly enjoying streaming 4k content, especially the HDR shows from Amazon Prime.

Great picture with sharp and crisp color. Audio could be better, which was solved with a sound bar, and could be more app selection then what's furnished. But overall can't beat it for 4k ultra at the price point.

I’ve had this TV for over a year now & absolutely love it! I’d never purchased a Hisense product & have been pleasantly surprised by this brand. Don’t be fooled into thinking it’s not a quality TV as the price is lower than many of the top brands. Also, a warranty, (4 year I think) is automatically included by the company once you register your product, so I didn’t have to pay for an extra protection package. Great TV at a great price! Sound quality is good too.

Compating other brands at this pricepoint it had the best poctute quality in the store, it was also rrcommended by sales rep. Wasn't sure of brand so was somrwhat concerned . Good decision .

Warranty is ok. Picture is amazing. Price is great. Some motion blur in 4K modes, but an all around good tv.

I was a little bit skeptical of buying a generic brand TV but saving a couple hundred dollars was enough to tempt me. The Hisense tv is a great value. Crystal clear picture. We love it.

Had for about a month. Recommended by Best Buy salesperson as it had High Dynamic Range. Price was about half Samsung I was looking at originally. Setup was snap. Really great picture. Never heard of this brand and was leery about purchase but now very pleased I took the chance. Super bargain.

Overall product meets my satisfaction. Quality is appealing to eye, size is not too big yet not too small, and the fact that apps like Netflix are installed makes it even better

We originally were going to purchase a different tv that was 4K ultra HD 55" but we were told it didn't have a remote and that you need to use your phone as the remote. No remote was definitely a problem for us so we asks if there was a similar tv with a remote. The guy who helped us recommended this tv, told us that this company is really good and within our price range. Easy to use, beautiful picture, slim, and easy to set up. Very happy with our purchase.
