Ease of hookup, operation and play. I needed 120 hertz for xbox play and a step up on the hdmi for xbox. I love the play - a little hard to find the 120 hertz switch in the software but its in there. Some folks dont like the TV software but i dont ise it so i think its great. Its the best purchase ive made with TVs.

Awesome TV, great picture. I got it for gaming I was looking at other TVs Sony, Samsung, LG But those were out of my price range. After watching a YouTube video from digital trends i was sold on this TV

I am using this TV for last 1 month & bought it in 499$ . Pros : 1. Nice picture quality 2. Sound quality is also very good ( when you have selected it theatre mode) 3. Backlight dimming under this price expectational Cons: 1. Not user friendly, you need to spent some time to understand all the function 2. Doesn't have a premium look

For this purchase I was replacing a ~5 yr old Hisense TV whose backlight went out (third picture). I bought the 5 year warranty so this didnt cost anything. Has nice very bright picture and is a 120hz panel so sports look great. This also has the newer antenna so it gets better signal / picture over the air. The location of this TV we dont have cable, so antenna is a must. Lots of apps to choose from.

Bigger than my previous tv and for half its original price I couldn’t resist buying this this has everything i wanted 4k 120hz good for gaming and overall just watching anything your heart desires i would recommend this

I Love this TV well worth the $ on sale $499 , I’ve Not seen anything like this Hisence 55 inch TV. The filmmaker mode is incredible and enhanced viewing movies I’ve seen many times look like whole different movies , I can’t say enough about this TV , I am not a gamer so don’t know how it fares in that aspect but WOW I’ve had Other 4K TVs but none come close to quality for the price

I had a Sony x800H nothing how is it. excellent color brightness for me. in an accident in the room it broke. after that I tried a TLC, Samsung cu8000 I did not like them. I bought the heisense u7h there is no word to describe this tv I like all of it

love it, nice quality picture when gaming on the ps5. crisp quality and the sound is nice and loud with some bass to it. very thin bezel. 4k @120hz

A lot of this negative review is for Best Buy, not the tv itself. Out of the box the tv had horizontal bars with discoloration, very noticeable in dsrk colors. Called to get a replacement. The tv was not in stock, so i had to pick another (instead of going throught the whole process with another store). Price of my original tv and others had gone up, so I needed to pay more for the U8H 55" (cheapest 55" 120hz). Could not apply my active reward points to the balance. Got unlucky on a lemon tv and missed sale prices that lapsed after I made my original purchase.

The TV appeared to be an open box item when it should have arrived as a new purchase. The packaging was mismatched and not neat. When I initially turned on the television the picture quality was unsatisfactory, which I expected much more considering the specs that were advertised. The television stopped turning on even while plugged in. After boxing the television up, I was informed by Best Buy that I could not return the television. I missed the 15 day return period by 2 days. So, now I'm stuck with an used and inoperable television. I will not be purchasing a television from Best Buy again after this unpleasant experience.

Great tv, really good colors only downside is that the viewing angles are great but that’s to be expected from a va panel. Overall would definitely recommend.

Lines in tv months later at all times which is very distracting. Hisense has not got back to me after submitting this issue on website.

The televisions is a great quality especially for the price. The 120hz refresh rate is quite nice, if the device used supports it. The base speakers for the television are pretty good, but i had already purchased a sound system for it. The eArc functionality of the port works great and adapts to the audio output. The only noticeable downside over more expensive products might be the brightness, and the viewing angle. If those aren't issues for your set up it's just as good as more expensive tvs of the same type an output.

Disappointed. Only shows my Xbox series X in 640x480. Take the PS5 and plug it into the same 2.1 eArc port and I instantly get 2160 with ALLM. Not the Xbox.

I agree with digital trends Caleb Denison's review. It's a great TV for the value, best bang for the bucks, the color accuracy out of the box is very high, inputs for next gen gaming consoles are compatible on this TV. The picture modes (preset ones) are great, and further tuning can be done with game mode plus others. Smart TV's UI can be confusing but it's based on Android/Google TV platform, take sometime to research and get used to. I think the only thing holding back for someone to purchase is knowing that in 2023 lineups from Hisense, they are brining mini LEDs to U6, U7, and U8 series, therefore maybe it is smart to wait for the 2023 Hisense models.
