Hisense..good and underrated
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For the price, this TV displays an excellent sharp picture and the sound is much better than I imagined...even has a built in sub woofer with 30w total power. What Hisense needs to improve upon is their user manual. There is no E manual built in to the software and one needs to download it from the website. Additionally.. many ways to navigate menus and sub menus to make adjustments are not mentioned at all. Requires a hunt and peck and explore method. Overall.. BETTER than I thought this tv would be from an otherwise unknown brand. I recommend this TV and also the geek squad 2 year additional warranty.... just in case.

Not a true 120hz panel
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv under the mindset that it boasts an actual 120hz refresh rate display, not motion enhancement bs that just makes this look jittery and blurry mess. Now i assumed that since the input said 4k @60hz hdmi that it would support 1920x1080 @120hz, but to my surprise when i plugged my laptop in, the max supported refresh rate was 60hz. Even going through extra steps to force it to 120hz, and it stating that its running at 120hz via the little pop up for input. testing it with blur busters ufo test showed that it was only running at 60hz as both 120hz and 60hz ufos were the same.

Great 4K TV at a great price.

However, I found the remote to be pretty basic. I don't use the voice feature, so I replaced it with a more full-featured remote. I now use the HISENSE EN3I39H remote. It can be found on the bay for cheap.

This TV fit those requirements. It was down to this TV or the 65 inch TCL. I went with this TV because of the specs and the fact that Hisense has been making TVs for a long time. Hisense is well known outside the US. Had one when I lived in Europe. Yes, its made in Mexico by a Chinese electronics company. The TV itself has been working flawlessly for over a month. No problems at all. The Picture isn't OLED quality, but its better than most other TVs in its price range. The only drawback I have found is the limited number of apps. Problem solved by hooking up a ROKU to it. Couldn't be happier and football looks great. Great bang for the buck.

Tv breaks within a year and no support!!

Tv then started to take over a minute to turn on. Now I’m at a year in with the tv and the bottom quarter of the screen randomly flickers the top half. Called in to support and they are absolutely horrible. Emailed them all the information they asked for and they said they would call me back in 1 day. Heard nothing so called back after 4 days and they said they would contact me back tomorrow again. It’s been over two weeks since I’ve been busy with Xmas and still have heard nothing back. Tv is garbage, support is garbage. Stay away from Hisense at all costs!!

Great TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It was easy to install, just plug it in and follow the prompts. It took less than 5 minutes! The picture is very clear and sharp, and the sound is the best I've heard on a TV in years (since flat screens started being the standard). The android operating system quickly connected with my Google account with no issues and then the TV updated to the most current version (all seamlessly). Very happy so far. Still playing with all the features. Great TV for the money!

No good if you need bluetooth.

Very thin, nice build, lots of connections, all great things, but... Second: However, if you need to use bluetooth speakers or headphones with it, FORGET IT, you won't be able to fix lipsync or delayed audio. I spent a week with the TV and customer service (that is terrible by the way), and after trying EVERYTHING, they finally sent me to tier 2 level, and I was told that there is no way to fix it. Basically, the bluetooth in this TV is to connect the remote control microphone, so you can talk to the TV. The delay is almost a full second and there's no way to fix it, as per Hisense. The reason I picked this TV was for the bluetooth, so this is going back to the store. Third: WIFI ISSUES, many reviews point the same thing. I was also having issues with the wifi connection, it won't stay connected for too long. At times, it won't even detect any networks around. By the way, The router was 2 feet away from the TV. That can be fixed with an ethernet cable, but most people would prefer a wireless connection I am sure. Fourth: SLOWWWWWW. The android TV system int his TV is too slow. There's also no easy way to change inputs from the remote. You have to go to sluggish slow android tv, go to the settings menu, and select the input. You can also create a shortcut, but still, very slow to change inputs. Same thing to go between channels... all very, very slow. I have had Hisense for some years now, and by FAR, this is the most useless TV they have made so far. All I can do is really urge you not to buy this TV and hope they come up with a better one. This unfortunately just does not work, and this is too bad, because the image quality is just superb!!!

Great picture, HORRIBLE experience!

Read about it online and for the price, thought it was a great buy, especially for a Hisense brand (never thought I'd ever buy Hisense). I was immediately blown away by the picture quality. Plenty bright and clear. Rivaled a friend's Sony 900f. This TV handled blooming a bit better than that TV but the Sony handles motion way better, but they are Sony. I was very happy with the purchase but soon after, TV would run slow... REAL SLOW! Then it would FREEZE. Then apps would NOT LOAD CORRECTLY. Even when I switched to using an Amazon Fire Stick (which alleviated alot of the stress) the sound would cutout to my soundbar until I was forced to restart. The result, since my GF doesn't mind the issues is that, I must restart once every day to keep if fresh. The cpu and system just can't keep up...

Would not recommend
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive had this for about a year. For the price, the picture is fabulous. However, there are constant flashes of white screen that only last about the blink of an eye. Also it shuts down and restarts randomly when using the Netflix app. Sometimes it makes a noise just before restarting. I believe a microprocessor is overheating. I would not recommend this tv.

Support is very poor

Each time I contacted support for assistance, the only solution offered is to reset the tv to factory defaults. This is unacceptable to me because I lose all of the settings and apps I have loaded. They do not even attempt to troubleshoot or resolve the issue.
