Usually I prefer a "dumb" TV since the OS usually gets outdated quickly and I'll end up adding my own device anyway, but I'm confident the Google TV built in on this one will be long lasting.

When i get really close it looks like dirt or something under the panel, its not like a dead pixel but physical smudge underneath the panel you have to look very hard for it, but on a scenes with close of shots of faces i can notice it. Its too big of a pain to take a 65in tv back to the store next time i a buy a tv i am going plug it in the parking lot and go over it with a fine tooth comb.

I don't notice any blooming on the panel as my Sony tv. I would definitely buy another one if need be....

Some Concerns, Incredible Picture

Just over a month i turned on the TV last night and there’s some dark dots in some spots and an area that flickers. It was there this morning but now mid day seems like it may have gone away. I know there are QA/QC concerns with Hisense but the overall picture quality prior to these issues was stellar.

Great tv for this price

It's a great tv but it does need to be calibrated out of the box. You won't find a better tv at this price. Plus the Android OS is actually great. You can install even 3rd party apps.

Inputs from DirectTV, Fire-stick and hardwired streaming. Everything working great, picture looks wonderful. All of a sudden, the TV stopped displaying anything from HDMI inputs. I called Hisense warrantee. They told me my problem is not uncommon and the TV ‘computer’ needed a cold reboot. I unplugged the TV and the HDMI inputs. Waited a minute. Plugged them back in. TV back to fully functioning. I can live with this.

My only question will be reliability. Oh and 65” is a nice size if you are ten feet away or so.

Really not that bad but kind of annoying sometime depending on the scenes. Usually happens with darker scenes including motion. Great brightness and colors. Otherwise a solid TV and for the price difference between this and Samsung it's well worth it.

Bright whites and very black blacks without crush. Android is very responsive. Much better than TCL's 2020 R635 and a big improvement over last year excellent Hisnese H9F.
