Q: Does this TV have HDMI 2.1 ?
A: it doesn't unfortunately. all 4 HDMI ports are 2.0
Q: What is the difference between the H8 and the H9? Thanks
A: My first answer above might be a little confusing. All the features seem to be the same for the H9G and the H8G except for these primary differences: Up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness for HDR on the H9G (up to 700 nits on the H8G). Full-array LED backlighting with up to 180 local dimming zones on the H9G (up to 90 local dimming zones on the H8G). In-bezel microphones and far-field voice control on the H9G (Voice remote-control on the H8G). Motion Rate of 480 for smooth fast motion control on the H9G with 120Hz refresh rate (motion rate of 240 on the H8G).
Q: If I sit 8 feet away from my tv, is the 65 inch too big?
A: Hi,we were wondering the same question as our 55in LG just went out. Well, we have had the H9G 65inch for one week now. TV is exactly 8 ft from couch . When we first started watching ,we just went wow. This may be too much TV. But after a few days,we love it! Picture is amazing . I honestly think 65 inches is the largest TV for only being 8ft viewing distance though. Highly recommend this TV.
A: Same as above... the only way the USB power goes off is if you long press the power button, and select shut down... Otherwise when you press power it goes into a standby mode.. I also really wish they could make an option to allow USB power of at least one of the ports to turn off in standby for bias lighting.
Q: How is the sound quality? Do you recommend a soundbar?
A: The sounds sucks and it won't connect to our sound bar via HDMI. It will connect via bluetooth but it still doesn't sound good. We're frustrated!
Q: How does the picture quality compare to the TCL series 8 model?
A: I just got this tv yesterday and its WAY better than the series 8 and plus this one is a lot cheaper. i use this tv for mostly dark room gaming and movies and the picture quality on it is absolute amazing. i highly recommend getting this tv over the TCL
