Very impressed with hisense. I Read alot of reviews and did my research. All the postive reviews on this tv are accurate. I have had No issues at all and im very happy with this TV. It Has a great picture and the 1000nits is no joke. This tv can get very bright. The sound is also pretty decent for tv speakers, and the android tv interface is great too. Hisense might have to be my new goto brand! Its no oled but its the best led tv i have had(samsung q8fn mulitple bad units and a couple Vizios m and p series) overall if you're looking for great 55-65'' tv under $2k its a no brainier the Hisense H9G is it.

Gorgeous picture quality with outstanding inky blacks. Black quality of an oled with the added benefit of brighter screen at the fraction of the cost. Only con is the annoying google assistant lights on the front

    Value & Picture Quality...Sound Adequate 65"

I've had this a few months now. The AndroidTV app had glitches, but a factory reset was able to solve it, which I found in the settings, I just had to reenter all the services again, such as Netfix, Disney+, Hulu, etc. The picture quality is great, much better than the old LCD I had, so anything was going to be better. The sound it comes with is adequate and you can get by, but you really should get something better with it; wait for a sale if you want to put that extra purchase off. For the price, you're really getting something very similar to the name brands you're familiar with without the steep price. In terms of adjusting the picture, there are q good number of setting options and you'll find plenty of reviews on YouTube about how to do them. As for value, I ended up buying a second set a few days later. This was the review from the 55" I purchased (3)-days before I purchased the 65". I enjoyed the set enough to go out and get the bigger model in the end. So far I haven't had any issues with the 65" or the 55" but I did notice that there doesn't seem to be a lot of available memory in either set. The AndroidTV app seems a little slower to respond, so maybe there's less processing power in both sets compared to some name brands. However, if you're more concerned about the remote responding quickly and not actually watching the program, then maybe you'd like something with faster processing. As for the picture quality, it's a vast improvement from my LCD.

AMAZING BUDGET 4K - GREAT GAMING TV

I bought this TV 3 weeks ago and so far all I can say is WOW. The picture is AMAZING - Video games are absolutely stunning on this TV and I really haven't noticed any latency issues between my PS4 pro and the TV (I play a lot of COD on it) The factory picture settings are pretty good. The TV is VERY bright, great for bright rooms, in the evening it can be a bit much as I've had trouble finding the perfect balance between brightness and backlight but we are getting used to it. One feature I REALLY like is that each input has separate settings. So the settings for PS4 pro are different for the Firestick are different for the Switch etc. I can't say much for the speakers because I run a Bose soundbar with it although the built in EQ is helpful. The menus are a touch clunky but nothing to get in a twist about. I can't speak to the ANDROID features because I do not use them. If I could have bought a 65" without "smart" features and tons of built in things I'll never use I would have. There is a ghost in my hallway looking at me. I should probably connect it to my network and check for a firmware update but the TV is running great so as of right now I don't see the hurry. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars instead 5 is that I've only had it a few weeks and I don't think its long enough for a FULL review. I would highly recommend this tv. So far it has been GREAT.

I was extremely pleased with the picture on the TV right out of the box. The setup of the tv was very easy and I was enjoying it in a very short time. The remote makes it easy to navigate around the options. The blacks are truly black and the detail is amazing for a tv under a $1000. I was pleased with the apps that were preloaded and the ease of eliminating the ones I did not want.

ILL KEEP SHORT, THIS IS THIER 2020 FLAGSHIP MODEL IN 65". TV OFF - IT LOOKS NICE, LITTLE BIT OF GLARE, BUT MY SONY HAD ABOUT THE SAME. TV ON- WIFE SAID CHRIS THIS PICTURE IS AMAZING. SO IF NOT A PRO OR FREAK YOU SHOULD LOVE IT... NOW THE REAL BAD.... CUSTOMER SERVICE, UNFORTUNATLY IS WHAT YOU WOULD THINK. WHY COMPANIES CANT TEACH CS COMPASSION, OR THE OL FAKE IT YOU MAKE IT FOR REPEAT SERVICE? ON THE BACK RIGHT SIDE IS A STICKER WITH MODEL #'S ETC. TAKE A PICTURE OF THIS OR RIGHT DOWN AND KEEP IT ACCESSIBLE. THE NUMBERS IN SETTING WHICH OTHER COMPANIES WANT, THEY DON'T. MUST BE EASY WAY TO DENY CLAIM. WHEN YOUR OLD LIKE ME, IT WAS A PAIN TO GET GO. I NEEDED THIS # BECAUSE REMOTE DIED IN 4 DAYS. THEY MAKE YOU GO THROUGH STEP FOR 30 MINS. BUT THREY ARE SENDING A NRE REMOTE. BUY BUY GEEK SQUAD 5 YEAR WARRANTY YOU MAY NEED IT. I DID NOT BOTHER BEST BUY WITH THIS REPAIR EVEN THOUGH I HAVE THEM. WHY 4 DAYS OLD SHOULD NOT BE BEST BUY ISSUE, THEY HAVE MANY OTHERS TO DEAL WITH. HISENSE HAS SOME LEARNING CURVES IN OUR COUNTRY. I JUST CANT IMAGINE WHAT IT WOUKD BE TO LIVE IN ASIA, DO THEY TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER, ILL NEVER KNOW. BE SAFE ALL COVID HOT AND HEAVY IN THR SOUTH EAST

Had been thinking about upgrading to 4K for some time now, but couldn't justify it when HD TV seems just fine. Started reviewing specs and trying to learn about the different HDR formats when this TV appeared. Great dark/white levels, brightness, and supports all the different HDR formats. Some reviews and forums may mention some issues with banding, overly red tones, and maybe a dead pixel here or there; so far mine has been perfect. For just under $1000 I'm very pleased. There is definitely an improvement when going from standard HD to 4K HDR.

Beautiful picture! Almost oled black levels. I heard a lot of people had issues with their panels being hit and miss as far as gray uniformity and blooming but here in San Antonio the 65 inch model has not been available until recently for shipping only which made me a little nervous but the one I have has been excellent so far especially with Dolby Vision content. I did have to factory reset my Vizio sound bar that has dolby vision pass-through but after that everything is working smoothly and the picture quality is amazing.

If you have sensitive eyes like I do, the Android TV operating system can be quite annoying at default settings. My biggest issue was that the menu and closed captions are blindingly white. Make sure that: 1. You need to go into Prime Video, Netflix, Vudu, etc. individual settings to change caption settings. Some of them you can only adjust settings by using a web browser on a computer. I like half-transparent setting. This to some can be quite cumbersome. 2. You'll need to adjust color/brightness/contrast etc. for each source type. For example, HDR source would require a different set of settings from that of the SDR source. In the beginning I didn't know this and couldn't understand why the TV couldn't save the settings. After about 2 hours tweaking, I can honestly say that the picture quality is amazing, and very pleasing to the eyes. Worth every penny and some - if you know how to tweak the settings. We love watching TVs in our house and we have two 4K TVs, one 1080P 3D TV, and one 4K projector. In the past the Epson 4K projector was always my 1st choice. Now I often find myself watching the Hisense instead.

The H9G TV really is worth every penny. I had done a couple of hours of research on what TV to buy in the 1000 dollar price range and a ton of reviews were pointing to the H9G and I can see why. The contrast and black levels on this tv are amazing and overall the display quality looks very similar to the more expensive Samsung and Sony models ($1300 or more) on display at best buy. This TV uses Android TV as an operating software and it runs it very well. The TV does not feel slow to navigate through the menus and the google assistant works well with other google home devices. This TV also has Dolby Vision and HDR 10+ so 4K HDR content is excellent on this TV, especially the Dolby vision supported content. Overall this is the best TV I have owned so far. My previous main TV was a 55" 4k Samsung 7000 series (2017) and the difference in display quality is night and day. This is my first my first Hisense TV and I have had it for only a few days so I can't yet attest to the reliability but I will update my review in a few months. For now I give it a solid 5 stars.

Its a very good TV, looks nice mounted on my office wall and has good blacks and is bright. I bought a Vizio $199 surround sound system from Best Buy along with the TV so I can't comment on the sound but this system sounds great in my office. I also LOVE the Android TV OS on it, I wish other TV makers would abandon their own proprietary Odes (like LG and Samsung) and adopt either Android or ROku, SO much better and so many more choices of Apps! The reason for not giving 5* is that I bought a 77" LG OLED CX for my living room downstairs and that picture quality BLOWS this away!! No in fairness tat's also a lot more expensive but proves that nothing can come close to OLED in terms of pic quality!

    Great Image - Weak Sound

Amazing Android TV! Pros: - Bright enough to face a wall of windows and still show detailed images during the day. - The base is large and solid without requiring the "normal" long entertainment center. - Easy navigation of the Android TV OS. - Strong antenna receiver (compared to my old 2009 HDTV). - Audio only option, where you can turn the screen off and listen only. I find this useful when listening to my favorite internet radios. Cons: - Base is wide, which adds to the stability but makes it hard to near impossible to fit a sound bar under the TV. - As per usual, the sound is weak. That doesn't mean it is quiet, just that base and depth of sound is lacking. - Smart TVs are "smart". Make sure you turn off the automatic settings in audio and video submenus otherwise the TV will try to fine tune to match what is on the TV. For example switching from Sports setting to Theater settings depending on the action in your show. This can cause the system to flicker for half a second while it applies the other settings. Do yourself a favor, watch a professional review and use their suggested image settings to get the best out of this TV. Overall a great buy for anyone updating from an old HDTV or smaller/older 4K setup!

I upgraded from a 12 year old 720p TV to this ULED 4k Hisense. Difference was huge. The colors are bright- maybe a little red tint so needs some adjusting. Contrast is good, good blacks; some minor halo'ing. Motion is good, very few 120hz tvs at this price point. Very happy with purhcase.

Excellent TV, fantastic picture with excellent black levels. This tv delivers great performance for next gen gaming despite not being hdmi 2.1. It is not 120hz with 4k but will do it in 1080p. It also has HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision. Just an all around great value.

I love my TV. I purchased this one after much research and using projectors for the past 8 years. The picture is beautiful. ARC works well with my vizio soundbar so I only have one remote for everything. The android tv integration is awesome, and I run kodi on it and have an external hard drive hooked up for media and it works fantastically. I have one major and one minor gripe. Major: Regarding picture optimization, it would be nice for a feature to be added to turn off what the picture is being optimized for. I don't want to be distracted by the words optimizing for sporting event in the top right hand corner of the screen when I'm watching a game. Maybe this exists, but I was unable to find it. Minor (maybe medium for cord cutters) is internal storage. Android apps are beefy. After going through the google play store and installing all the apps that I would use, I was contsantly being prompted to uninstal apps since internal storage was getting close to full (4/5gb). I would recommend that you purchase an external usb drive (16GB and higher) and set that to be used as the storage for the television before setup so you are not prompted for this as you add apps onto the telly. All in all a fantastic value.

I must say Hisense out did them self with this television. The picture quality on this TV is remarkable! I was playing on my PS4 and IMMEDIATELY noticed much clearer and more detailed pictures. The colors were more vibrant thanks to the Quantum Dot Technology which made it seem like I was playing a new game! The television was easy to mount on my Stand. It is very light weight. The packaging was secure to make sure there was no internal damage. One of my favorite features is that this TV is an Android TV! It has the google marketplace which is where I can find all my apps. It is very user friendly and simple to set up. The sound quality was crisp and easy to hear. I paired the TV with my soundbar which was easy to set up. Whether your watching TV playing Games or seeing a movie the motion rate immediately catches your eye. Each frame is smoother and clear and works hand in hand to deliver a gorgeous picture. Overall I was blown away by this TV, The graphics are top tier quality, the design is sleek and modern. The set up was simple and user friendly. The homepage is easy to maneuver and the google play was an added bonus! I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my review

I got the 65" Hisense H9G after watching, reviewing, and researching countless videos & articles. I was comparing with other well-known brands such as Sony, Samsung, and LG. My max budget is $1500 for 65", so I knew that OLED is out of my reach at this time. I was focusing on getting the best LED. I am so satisfied with this decision to get H9G instead of the more well-known brand. From my research, it's very apparent that H9G is up to par to even OLED TVs, and it beats Sony/LG/Samsung LED TVs, with a much more affordable price. I haven't had any problems with H9G and have been using it a lot for movies & gaming. If you're on defense which LED TV you should get, I highly recommend Hisense H9G!!

This tv has been ridiculously hard to get. I had no idea this thing would continuously sell out everywhere and I can see why now. Its just absolutely gorgeous for the money. I'm happy I waited and didn't break down and buy an OLED because this tv has exceeded my expectations. For the price of this tv in comparison to the OLED's $1000+ price tag before tax your getting a great tv. Im not saying i wouldn't be happy with an OLED but the thought of screen burn in and all that extra money for a TV!!! Sorry but its a no brainer to pick up the hisense h9g. I love it and I think it will serve you well and Impress alot of people. I highly recommend giving this tv a look.
