    Hisense TV and Geek Squad Protection Plan

    BUYER BEWAREI I would like to inform buyers of Hisense TVs who also purchase a 2 year Protection Plan that if you need service during the first year YOU MUST use Hisense repair service NOT THE GEEK SQUAD - which is almost NON EXSISTANT! So, you really are buying a 1 year Protection Plan. I just ended a 5 month ordeal trying to get a Hisense service call. After waiting all day on the service appointment day the Tech called to reschedule. He then cancelled any further service appointment when i stated i was unable to take the 75” TV off the wall before their arrival.

    Hisense 75 inch tv

    I’ve had this mounted in the wall for less than 2 weeks and the tv has lost internet connection twice which requires the tv to be restarted. I should have bought the Samsung.

    Tried utilizing our " 60 day" return that they offered us for becoming a member for 50 bucks. Just spent 2 hours on the phone to get absolutely nowhere They scheduled to pick up the old TV and deliver the same TV so when we called back and tried talking to him after we realized that they screwed it up and made it same TV and it's supposed to be a Samsung not a Hisense she ended up hanging up on me after spending an hour on the phone. Absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced..

    Poor Experience with Best Buy after purchase. In store personnel were great. Try to get resolution on anything after that online is impossible. On hold or online for over an hour for simple question. Should have ordered tv from amazon and saved a trip. Support would have been the same if not better.

    The screen flickers every five to ten minutes, I put all new cords that connect to my T.V and it still does it. Will be making a claim to Hisense asap. Started doing it right away. Its not even 2 months old.

    Would be a great buy if it weren't that the sound flickers off for a fraction of a second intermittently. Tried to get used to it but it's too annoying.

    The Optical port on the TV does not work- it will not accept the optical cable and it keeps falling out (it is the port and not the cable).

    U7 is a Beast of a TV

    The U7 is way brighter than expected. Glare was no problem even with a large bay window to the side of the TV. It’s colors are incredible, one of the clearest pictures I’ve seen. The apps worked incredibly well for streaming and youtube. Love the ability to search by talking to the remote. The built in audio is impressive. It gets very loud but remains clear.

    Hisense a7 vs u7 75 inch tv

    Hisense 75 inchs tvs If you're comparing the Hisense A7 and U7, it really comes down to the technology differences between these two TVs. After experiencing both, I feel the A7 has sharper, more natural colors that look amazing, even though it doesn’t offer the same level of brightness as the U7. On the other hand, the U7 seems to have an overly saturated picture, with too much blue and contrast that can feel a bit overpowering. From my experience, the A7's picture quality is just overall more balanced and enjoyable, despite its lower brightness. Considering the $500 price difference, in my opinion, the U7 isn’t worth the extra cost. I own both TVs, and while I’m grateful to have the U7, I would honestly prefer the A7. That’s just my take!

    Oh, my when I got this TV into the living room, I realized how large a 75" TV is. My daughter helped me to remove it from the box and install the stand. I highly recommend that this should be a two person job. We got it on the TV stand and plugged it in. We then plugged in the sound bar using the eARC HDMI port. I walked through the setup with ease. My previous TV, I used a Roku, but it wasn't necessary anymore. I've plugged it in, but I've not used it at all. Everything works great from the smart TV. I've signed into all our streaming apps and everything works fantastically. The picture is fantastic! We can see the peach fuzz on the little ole ladies' faces. HAHA! I've had a series of movies I bought in 4k just waiting for the TV that can stream them. Colors are crisp and blacks are very black. Motion is very clear. The picture is just outstanding! The speakers are better than most, but I prefer the great sound of the eARC through the soundbar. My old TV didn't have the eARC for sound, so I had to have a TV remote, a volume remote for the sound bar and then the roku remote. What I love now is that I'm back down to one well laid out remote. There is a slight delay when clicking on anything system related. The play pause, volume, and channel buttons are much more responsive. The delay for the system clicks like menu or settings, are delayed enough that you'll hit it a second time, just in time for the first click to respond so you end up opening then closing the setting and having to click again to open again. They need to work on that response time a bit. I didn't hook up any gaming to the TV yet so I can't speak on that at this time. I would absolutely recommend this TV!

    We were unsure about the brand but relied on reviews and decided to upgrade to this size. So far it’s been great. We both like bright pictures and actually have this turned down a bit. Sound is excellent and we will add the soundbar soon.
