For the price I got it at 999.99 , originally was 1,500 and best buy adjust the price 899.99 for the Black Friday price. Have to use it with Apple TV since the built in smart tv is just to slow.

After getting this TV replaced 3 times I can confirm it is a LED Panel lottery with Hisense. Only good features prior to burning out within a week, was the subwoofer built into the TV is amazing. And the Google OS is very quick, fluid, responsive, as well as the voice commands on the TV remote.

GREAT OVERALL TV

This is a great TV overall. The 4k picture is amazing! The overall picture is bright and vibrant. The value for your dollar is quite high. For around a thousand dollars for the 75 inch, this TV and the TCL QM7 are amazing. I originally ordered the TCL, but the screen was flickering and I got the Hisense and never looked back, this is a killer TV!
The 120hz gaming is incredibly fluid and works well on the XBOX Series X, same thing for the VRR. The TV has AMD freesync premium pro built in. The amount of tech you get for this price is pretty amazing.
You will probably want to view the TV straight on. Viewing at an angle is fine, but to get the best picture, view the screen straight on!
Also, the HDR and Dolby Vision content looks great and the TV has separate picture settings for SDR, HDR, and Dolby Vision. This is a very welcome feature! And the built in google TV is very quick and responsive, with zero lag.
If you want a great Mini-LED TV that looks amazing and won't break the bank, this is the TV for you!

I ordered the Hisense model 75U75LUA to replace my previous TV, which was a Hisense 60" LED, H6 Series 2160p Smart 4K UHD TV with HDR (model:60DU6070).
There was nothing “wrong” with my TV, per se. It still operates fine. I just wasn’t happy with the picture quality (it was very dark while watching movies, no matter what I set the picture settings to), and I thought a bigger TV would be nice.
A few things to note, if this is your first 75” TV (as it is mine). One, the TV will arrive via freight carrier and not the standard UPS/FedEx. I had to arrange a delivery time and be home to sign for it. Two, it will be HEAVY. It says, “Team Lift” on the box, and they aren’t kidding. You will need two people at least, if not three. I thought about mounting it on the wall, but I’m glad I didn’t go through with that plan. There’d be no way we’d get it on the wall ourselves. Three, the TV will have white panels on the sides for you to be able to handle the TV without damaging the screen. I recommend not removing these until the after your TV is in its final placement.
All that out of the way, the picture is PHENOMENAL in comparison to my old TV. The TV will start up as soon as you plug it in. The brightness was…WOW. That was just on the launch screen.
This TV has Google TV built right in. This will be more than enough to stream just about anything you want. You have access to nearly all the major streaming services. You do have shortcuts on the remote for apps like Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, and YouTube. I say, “nearly”, because Google TV does not have the Spectrum (Charter) TV app, which is how I access my cable subscription. I have a Roku Ultra 4K that I will need to continue to use for that. I’m disappointed that Google doesn’t offer the app, but it’s not a dealbreaker. I have the Roku, as well as a Samsung Soundbar, hooked up to the TV. No issues whatsoever during setup. You can use your existing Google account to log in, or create a new ID. You also have the availability to add Kid Profiles and enable Parental Controls if you wish. I don’t have an antenna for OTA channels. I tried running the Live TV scan, but no channels were available. Google TV offers lots of free TV options, including Tubi and Pluto.
This TV has more setting than I know what to do with. As of this writing, I have only had the unit a few days. We did a test with our Xbox One. The game images were sharp. No discernable lag.
The video for programming is sharp. I was watching a movie on Pluto that was released in 1962 and it was almost as clear as any current movie. I was pleasantly surprised. The opening credits felt like they were about to jump out off the screen.
I’ve included some photos to try and show clarity. MSNBC had the clearest picture of my Spectrum lineup, so I used them for my screen caps. I also have images from the game we tested.
I did have a few hiccups, though.
The Bluetooth feature defaults to being on. You have to have this turned on in order to use Google Assistant (voice controls). However, I had a device in the home that kept asking me if I wanted to pair it to the TV. The device name that showed up, however, was not a device I (knowingly) owned. I tried Googling the name to try and figure out what was wrong, but nothing that I owned came up in relation to search results. Each time the Bluetooth feature came on, whether I hit “pair” or “cancel”, it would knock out the Spectrum signal. I would have to click on the option that said if I wanted to continue watching TV. This was happening every 30-60 seconds. That got annoying fast. In turning the off the Bluetooth, I lost access to the voice commands.
Speaking of commands, in the settings, you can turn on a setting that allows you to use certain gestures of your hands to control the TV. It’s a neat gimmick, but one I wouldn’t use personally. In reviewing that feature, though, I found out that the TV has a camera that is on (that is how it “sees” the gestures). That’s a little unnerving.
Another problem I found was that the TV kept coming on each time I turned it off. I couldn’t figure out why. I didn’t use verbal commands (this was before I turned off the Bluetooth). I wasn’t even in the room when it would come back on. Even though I had the screen saver on, it wasn’t activating on its own. I would manually turn it on, then something would cause it to go off. I tried Googling for a solution, but all I found were entries regarding Chromecast devices, which did not have the same settings. I went into the TV settings and tried a few things and finally solved the problem.
Finally, (and this may be more of a Google issue than a Hisense issue), I’m disappointed in how the Kids Profiles work. When I log into a streaming service, I usually have to choose a profile. My profile is PIN protected. That keeps the children out of my profile. When you turn Google TV on, it defaults to the last profile used, which is mine. I have to manually choose the Kids Profile. Now, if I’m not around for some reason, and they turn the TV on, they have access to virtually anything they want to see. I would prefer to have the TV prompt for a profile choice each time it is turned on. Otherwise, it’s not as convenient of a feature.
I didn’t take any stars away because I don’t know if my issues were actual defects or user error.
I would highly recommend this TV.

Really enjoy this unit. Packaging was suitable for transport and unpackaging was easy. I chose to put this on the wall rather than the included stand. The unit is large and semi heavy. I did need some assistance to put it on the wall.
I really like the appearance of this unit. Its is minimal frame and a single LED status on the middle center bottom. Included is a single standard remote. The remote has a metallic finish. The remote is designed for the smart tv aspect of the unit.
As for the install, it was simple as expected. I do although have one issue. The HDMI ports are off set to the side. This caused me to have to purchase a longer than expected cable to make my run. coming up short about 2 foot for my install purposes.
Picture is really nice out of the box, nice color and contrast. I did notice some skin tone variance but I have not calibrated this unit. Seems to be a simple fix. I really like the quick menu options for gaming and other functions. Volume of the unit is good for a room. The full array with local dimming showd not signs of blooming or hot spots. It had nice shadows and good contrast. Great HDR content!!
This unit checked all the boxes for my particular needs. Although you can step up to the U8 model for higher brightness nit output and a few other enhanced motion settings.
Nice unit for the price and give a great experience!

Great television, there are some apps unavailable in my area that keep me from leaving my streaming equipment on the shelf though. Great picture, good televion sound, streaming is amazing, it is very easy to use and watch. Viewing angles can be a little off because it does not have an antiglare screen . There is a little noticeable judder using my streaming device with some sports but overall great. The gaming features are amazing with the XBox and PS5, gaming speed is really good. One thing that is really great with this TV is colors are bright, vivid and accurate and the blacks are really black, almost too dark, lical dimming is areally nice feature and watching in Dolby Vision is amazing. Dollar for Dollar and value pricing this is an amazing set, I have went from being apprehensive to a believer in the Hisense products. We will see what it looks like in 1yr - 3yrs - 5yrs.

This TV is absolutely amazing. From the bright and vivid colors to the nice bass from the built in subwoofer it’s hands down the best tv I’ve ever owned.Take into account I don’t go spending 1,000s on TVs but took a chance on this one at just under $960 and it was well worth it! Gaming looks and feels amazing with this television and lag is virtually non existent.Watching movies and videos with this product is where it really shines.Everything is so bright and vibrant it’s like your there in whatever your watching. There are many different settings to fit any visual style you might like.Samsung and other major brands will have better TVs than this but for the price of a used car.If you want something reliable, bright, vibrant and love watching movies and gaming grab this Tv at this wonderful price! Don’t worry about the name it’s about the tech! Take a chance on Hisense you’ll thank me later.Gamers if you want to maximize your TVs settings so you get that full gaming experience(Framrate/Refresh Rate etc.) from your console or PC, check out some of the great YouTube videos they have on your particular console and or pcs settings.

Stunning Clarity and Color at an Affordable Price

This is my first Hisense TV, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed! The 75" display boasts quantum dot color technology paired with a 144Hz game mode pro, making it a game changer in the world of affordable, feature-rich TVs. I wouldn't hesitate to add one to each room, but it truly shines in my downstairs bar, enhancing the big game day experience for my guests.
Comparing it to the branded Quantum 4K TVs I own, here’s how it stacks up:
• Mini-LED Technology: The detail and accuracy are phenomenal, especially during high-contrast movie scenes or NFL games. It’s a clear step up in visual quality.
• QLED Display: The colors pop! Whether it’s an action movie or a sports game, the vibrancy and saturation are outstanding, even in well-lit rooms. Watching 4K animal documentaries on National Geographic was an absolute treat—the brightness and vivid colors were stunning.
• High Dynamic Range Support:
○ Dolby Vision: Adds incredible depth and realism, noticeable in movies like "Avatar" or during live sports.
○ HDR 10: Enhances everything from dark shadows to bright highlights, which is particularly great when gaming on Xbox or PlayStation.
○ HLG: Adjusts brightness dynamically and brings a wider palette of colors, perfect for live broadcasts like NFL games.
• Gaming Performance: Supports 4K at 144Hz for PCs and has two HDMI 2.1 ports for consoles. Although I experienced some lag with my newest gaming console, I’m still tweaking the settings.
• Connectivity: With multiple ports including HDMI, USB 3.0, and ethernet, plus digital audio out for lag-free sound with my surround system, it’s well-equipped for all needs.
• Privacy and Control: A switch at the base of the TV allows easy microphone control for privacy.
• Smart Features: Built-in Google TV and Chromecast, along with Google Assistant, make setup a breeze and apps incredibly responsive over WiFi.
• Viewing Modes: The filmmaker mode is true to the original production quality, which is especially evident when watching those stunning 4K documentaries.
I highly recommend this TV to anyone looking for a premium, immersive experience without breaking the bank. It’s definitely a top contender in its price range for those who value both performance and affordability.

Fantastic tv so far, was simple to set up, excellent picture. I can't attest to internal speakers because I have a sound bar surround system. I like the fact that i can control the sound bar from the tv settings. I love the Google TV system and the fact that I can control it with voice commands. I had a Roku television previously, so wasn't sure if I would like the Google system, but I love it.
