The U7G is a fantastic gaming tv. It has low latency and still delivers bright and vivid picture quality. I ran some screen tests and it offers uniform white screen with virtually no shadowing even at the corners there is practically no bloom from the localized dimming when high contrast items move across the screen. This product is versatile and feature rich. The android aspect with built in google assistant work well to navigate functions without using the remote but the remote is easy to navigate even if used. My only negative to this tv is the sound quality which is tinny and awkward at times. But I typically use a sound bar anyway (which was a snap to set up with this tv!). Highly recommend.

returned item. All review said it was a VA screen, but it ISP. Miss leading on Hisense Site as well. Color contrast goes from 3000-1 to 1000-1

Pros -Easy and fast setup -Solid network stability -Beautiful picture quality for HD movie play -Very fast refresh rates for Ps5 play -Amazing graphics for Ps5 games Cons -Remote is plain and simple -Home Screen is a little cluttered which makes navigating a challenge I would recommend this tv for movie lovers and gamers alike. It’s got a great thin panel which allows it to be lighter for its size and easier to mount on a wall if needed. Video streaming is very easy and seamless with a beautiful picture. Gamers will love this tv for the speed and picture quality.

Unfortunately, the picture quality was nothing like I was told it would be.

This TV lags on anything 4K or 4K equivalent. The images blur and skip on scenes with large amounts of movement. I returned the first TV and am about to return the second. Don't waste your time/money. See this reddit thread to see what other people have experienced as well.

I got the 75 inch U7G. I like this TV for its picture, sound and style. First, I know before-hand it is not a VA panel, but a IPS panel. For the on-sale price, I decided to give it a try. Turns out its black level is just great - exceeds my expectation. It is not the OLED type black, but to me it is more than good enough. My last TV was a Sony 49x800d (VA panel), and the Hisense 75U7G's black level beats the Sony TV out of the water. So, I think the latest technology has made IPS's black level much better now. So, the IPS panel is not an issue for this TV, unless you are after the OLED type of back. Then the rest are all good things: 1) the color is so vivid, 2) the brightness is great, 3) the premium feel. 4) this TV supports all the latest technology: 4K at 120Hz, Dolby Atmos, and etc. So, it is going to be so great for gamers and movie lovers. This is definitely the high end TV that Hisense offers, not the mid or low end one.

Finally.. after months..(and lots of YouTube reviews) my wife was able to get this awesome TV for my birthday. And it didn't disappoint. This thing looks stylish, great picture. Watched and IMAX enhanced movie in Disney+.. WOOOW!. Played Assassins Creed Origins and Odyssey (PS4)... WHAAT?!?. Really easy to setup, loved that it keeps the settings berween sources. Streamed Netflix, Prime, Disney+ in 4K Dolby Vision/Atmos. I am really happy. (now can wait to get a PS5)

Best tv i have ever bought. Awesome picture and great sound. Didnt even realize it has 2 bass speakers on the back of the tv. Haven’t needed to go past 13 on the volume yet. My ps5 looks great on the tv. The tv remote will connect to the ps5 being able to use it on the ps5 if you want to. The only con i have so far is that the googleplay store does not offer a directv stream app for this modle of a tv. Becides that i would recommend this tv to everyone.

I spoke to Hisense today 8-30-21 , i can confirm the 75in does indeed use a IPS PANEL . The 55 and 65inch use a VA panel , Huge deal breaker for me as i wanted the 75in. Im in America by the way not sure about other countries.

This TV was bought as a Christmas gift for our kids in 2021. It worked well for two years and developed a line down the middle that cannot be fixed. The warranty claims have been completely disregarded by Hisense. We paid way too much for this TV to only get two years of life out of it. Completely disappointing.

So far this tv has been great, with excellent picture quality and features. If this continues it will be a choice I will make again soon to replace a 60" plasma.
