Even Muggles Should Play
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased HLDE for my adult son, and he hasn't stopped playing it. We are a family that watched HP together from when it was first released and this feels like the next step in the series. Watching the games and listening to the familiar Hogwarts accents and spells is fun to watch, even when your not playing.

Hogwarts Legacy is something you should experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Avalanche Software and WB knocked it out of the park with this game. The amount of hidden things, small references and quantity of quests will have you entertained for days. If the wizarding world of Hogwarts captivated you at all in the past you will be pleasantly surprised at every twist and turn with this game.

Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition - PS5
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very entertaining game. I have had a little trouble getting use to casting spells and figuring how to get the spells placed on my controller, but with time I am starting to get the hang of it. It is a very good looking visual show, with great scenery. I think that everyone would enjoy playing it...

You're a wizard now
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Become a great wizard or witch in an ambitious adventure game inspired by the world of Harry Potter. While the excessive clothing options may seem daunting, the combat is fun and fluid, and there's lots of secrets to uncover both within Hogwarts and beyond its stone walls.

Great Game

Just a great game!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are a Harry Potter fan, this game is a must. You almost have to be an open world/combat player. But this game certainly never leaves you will a dull moment! Great for lower skill gamers. Hard mode challenges some advanced players for sure. Would like to also say graphically it looks fantastic.

Great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite the delay on game, I received the game today and absolutely love it, been playing for hours. The details in the game are surreal and makes u feel like you are actually there. So far this game is 10/10 recommended especially for Harry Potter fans. My wife even loves it’s and is playing as well.

40 hours in and still loving it.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To start, I've been a fan since the first two movies and then started reading the books. What I liked right from the start is you don't need to know anything really from the books or any of the movies to enjoy the game. I can't give a great take on the story since i haven’t finished, but between the main story and a couple of the side stories with other students I'm engaged and want to see it thelrough to the end. Hogwarts and Hogsmeade look great, and were fun to explore. Gameplay is generally solid with a couple minor gripes here and there, switching spell sets on the fly has gotten me a couple of times. The block/parry/dodge system is easy to learn, but targeting could use a bit of polish. I love flying around in the broom, the beast mounts are cool but the broom is still the best. Learning spells has been fun and the classes remind me a bit of how they are in the Persona series, you wont have a scene in one every day, but there are set ones you will see or participate in when you reach set goals. Inventory/item management is easy to do and i really like the outfit management, you can set appearance for each item of clothing based on what items you've collected. In other words, if you like the look of a particular hat but you just got an ugly one with better stats you can put the new one on and set the appearance to the one you like. What didn't i like? House selections could have been a bit more fleshed out, if you did the wizarding world quiz to feed into the game the scene is quick, if you didn't the scene apparently isn't much longer. Next issue, there's a night day cycle but rarely are there consequences for being out at night or somewhere you shouldn't unless the quest dictates you have to stay hidden. You're in a boarding school, why isn't there some kind of restriction. This could have added a bit more excitement to exploring. Some minor audio issues, in particular with owl notices being read, the voice track sometimes dips ehile everything else is the same level. It is a bug, you can reload and the same dialog will be back to normal. Student character models do have variance but alot of the facial features and expressions seemed to have a bit of "samey" feeling to them. Another issue is there was noticeable screen tear and pop in. The pop in usually gets triggered when flying and you'll see some details magically appear or block outlines in the sky suddenly blend in with the rest. The tearing only really occurred going up/down long flight of stairs. Annoying but not game breaking. Overall im enjoying my time with game and would recommend it to fans and non-fans who just want a fun action rpg.

Fun & immersive
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great immersive game, provides hours and hours of excitement. True meaning of open world, and the easter eggs tied to the movies are fun. Best part of the game even if you are not familiar with the series you can still enjoy the game without feeling loss.

MAGICAL!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wonderful way to get your experience of the wizarding world! If you love Harry Potter and always wanted to step into the wizarding world, this is your game. Good combat, so many fantastic beast (no pun intended haha), and the open world really makes the game come all together from hogwarts to hogsmead all the way to a secret azkaban cutscene

Magical Gaming Experience
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For any Harry Potter fan, this game is amazing! The graphics, the storyline, all the Easter eggs from the books and movies.... The attention to detail in this game is out of this world. I hope they eventually come out with DLC to add to this magical world.

Great game, amazing if you love Harry Potter
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a very solid game, clearly made with much care. If you don't know much about Harry Potter, you may still enjoy the game as an open world rpg where you go to wizard school, fight the baddies, fly around on brooms. If you love Harry Potter, you will poop your pants with joy.

Highly recommend!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm at 40hrs into the game and not even finished the main story due to so many side quests that I constantly keep doing. There are so many puzzles and you always discover something new, and unexpected. Besides of that, the battle system is so much fun!

I have not finished it yet but i am about 30 hours in it and it is still enjoyable. I see you have to play and beat it with all the houses to get master achievement. Not sure ill be able to do that.

A magical marvel
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Minor technical glitches that you barely notice if you've been waiting for a game like this since PS1 Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Large open world environment with plenty to explore and do. Would be contender for GOTY if plebs weren't trying to boycott it.

Fun, but don't expect much from the story
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The gameplay is fun, but the story leaves something to be desired. Some sidequests with classmates are more interesting than the main story itself which boils down to a series of flashbacks. Main antagonists are paper-thin, but you rarely actually see them. That aside, the gameplay itself is fantastic. Combat is fun and flying around on a broom always puts a smile on my face. I did run into some technical issues early on, but watching my girlfriend play through it, those seem to be mostly patched out.
