This game is AMAZING! I havent stopped to enjoy the view and take pictures of my surroundings since The Witcher 3. Ive been waiting for a indepth RPG based in the Harry Potter world forever now! I thoroughly enjoy exploring hogwarts and hogsmeade. They did an amazing job putting every detail into the world. Only thing I wish is that we could customize the default made characters a bit more like adjusting eye, nose and lip sizes. My character looks a bit off when in the world. Also see brightness in the game changing during dialogue when they pan to the character talking. Super minor details. Last thing i wish the NPC had more a life especially the friends you make I wish they having a schedule and can be found doing different things at different times. It would make the world feel a bit more realistic.

    Hogwarts Legacy

This is the game I wish I was able to experience when I was 15, my peak of being a Harry Potter fanatic. As it stands now, I feel like a child again being wowed by the attention to detail and faithfulness to the source material. Hogwarts Legacy is a return to form for the Harry Potter franchise, set a little over 100 years before the events of the books/movies, which helps the game stretch it's creative muscles without being shackled by appearances from characters that would steal the spotlight from those created for the game. Because of this, I was sucked into the narrative. However, you might find the fun narrative being overshadowed by the thing I looked forward to the most when picking this game up; the ability to explore Hogwarts to your heart's content (provided you get the unlocking charm "Alohomora" for those pesky locked doors!). From finding the bathroom that holds the (inaccessible, since you're not a parselmouth) chamber of secrets, to discovering the secret passage behind the One Eyed Witch statue, everywhere you have wanted to explore yourself is at your disposal. If you are a Harry Potter fan in any capacity, at least consider picking this up. Don't listen to the controversy online about the game, buying this game does not make you a bad person.

This game is nothing short of a MASTERPIECE! The graphics are stunning, the story works perfectly, and the gameplay is surprisingly easy considering all the moving parts. It's fun, it's super pretty, and it's mysterious. This game has now set the bar so far above what we are use to. I'm excited to see more like this in the future. Excellent work! A MUST HAVE!

A really fun game that keeps totally true to the Hogwart's books. The world is exactly like you would expect it and I was totally surprised at how easy it is to cast spells and do battles. If you like the books or movies you should really enjoy this game.

This game was not on my radar because I haven't read the books or watched the movies. Quite frankly just isn't my vibe. I watched someone play a few days before release and it prompted me to get the game. 11 hours later and I have to give credit where it's due. They did a fantastic job with this game. The world is so incredibly interactive and there's so many things to do and see. I can see the effort that was put in to making the world feel alive and I definitely appreciate it. The spells are fun to create combos with and I'm just enjoying the exploration and side questing. I love that I can keep a look on my gear without losing the stats. Can't wait to dive in more to expand my plant and potion game.

I have played this an embarrassing amount of time since getting it a week ago. It’s so good. The story line, quests, exploring, combat, and variety of changes throughout the game have kept me occupied for hours on end. Someone else wrote this is the kind of game you catch yourself playing until 1am and that’s so true. I didn’t think anything would come close to BOTW and I might actually like this more.

Game is what i was expecting. Its own original story with your own customizable character set in the late 1800s. Expands on the lore very well and no lore breaking. Go through the halls of the school is like a dream come true. Its is depicted based on the books and most places based on the films and it works very well. I highly recommend this game to any HP fan or newcomers!!

This game was a lot of fun. It was great to explore the Hogwarts Castle and Hogsmead in a way you've never been able to explore them before. You don't realize how big Hogwarts is until you get lost and find another section you've never seen before. Caring for magical creatures and flying around on broomsticks is a lot of fun too. This is a great game for any Harry Potter fan.

I wasn’t planning to get this game let alone a review. This game caught my eye a few weeks before release. I didn’t read the books but enjoyed the movies. I was impressed with the reviews when it got released and bought it. I’m in love with this game. I’m playing in performance mode and the environments are incredible looking. The right music is always playing at the right time. The character creation was fun. I’ve literally played for a couple hours and have spent that time just exploring Hogwarts (which I rarely ever do in a game). This game blew my mind at how it’s grabbed me immediately. The combat feels new and refreshing. The environments are stunning. The gameplay outside of combat is great. I’m in bed and want to go pick up my controller for another 4 hours.

The game is wondeful with a great story so far. The additive of choice dialogue is interesting however as it doesnt add much of anything at all to they story. Also something cool about the disc version is it includes an exclusive quest!

This game is absolutely amazing. From the soundtrack to the attention to details in the castle/world, it is very nostalgic and feels like you are inside the books. Excelent gameplay and duels. My only complaint is the physics of flying the broomstick, it is not as good as other games that have airplanes.

This game is like 99% of everything I wanted to experience in the Wizarding World. I could just explore for hours inside the castle, in Hogsmeade, and anywhere else in rhe map. The combat is a lot of fun and the beasts are so magical. The only thing its missing is Quidditch but flying the broom, Hippogriffs, and the Thestral helps to make up for that some

Great game. You do not have to be a Harry Potter fan to appreciate the game. There are areas that it helps, but I think anyone can enjoy this open world RPG type game. Graphics are good, story is good, cut scenes are good. You should be able to get over 20 hours of game time for the story.

This is the Harry Potter game we have been waiting for since the first Harry Potter book came out.... Only it takes place about 100 years before Harry Potter. This is fun way to explore the Wizarding World of Hogwarts and the surrounding grounds. There is a ton of content here and this game will keep you busy for many dozen hours.

If you like 3rd person open world action rpg style games, then you'll probably like this one. It doesn't do anything extraordinary, but follows a recipe that simply works for exploration, story, and character development that you can sink 30+ hours into.
