I’ve been looking forward to it for awhile. I’ve stayed excited through controversy because the team is talented and they have nothing to do with the creators behavior. I got it on launch day. And you know what? It’s fine. I want to like it more, but there’s none of the whimsy or color of Harry Potter that I enjoyed as a kid. It’s detailed and well made, but the halls of the castle and the streets of hogsmede have a grey medieval quality, rather than a whimsical or magical one. It’s the only time an a steric has turned me off an otherwise well designed game.
