Purchased for my daughter, a Game Design major in college, and she's been playing it 5 days straight and I've been watching her for 5 days straight! This graphics are incredible and the game, while super intense, is aesthetically beautiful and interesting! It's not an easy game, but the design makes you want to play it as long as you can to accomplish your tasks and goals! It's absolutely delightful and on behalf of myself and my daughter, we highly recommend it!

The visuals, gameplay and music really make this a standout game. We own the digital version already, but we really wanted a physical copy as well. The characters are fun and each have their own backgrounds that you can learn more about, simply by playing the game. The levels are beautiful and again, the music is worth buying the album just to listen too when not playing. The longer you play this game, the more rewarding it becomes. 5/5 for us.

I purchased this game thinking it would be a quick game, but instead what I got was I was hours of fun through challenging puzzles and having to fight some ferocious enemies. For its price I say hollow knight is well worth it. And not only I being an adult enjoy the game, but also smaller audience like my kids; they enjoy the game.

So I really really really love team cherry and what they have done with this game Hollow knight and even more so their sequel Silksong! I love the level designs (except the sparse benches), I love the boss fights, I love the tone/atmosphere, I love this game and I love silksong even more! I just had to buy a physical copy and I hope silksong gets one too!

fun but challenging game if you like metroidvania you'll like this

I can't beat Hornet, and I keep dying, but it's a fun video game.

Bought it originally for PC and 4 playthroughs later it has got to be one of the best adventure game tonplay through. The music and thematics of the world of Hallownest pull you into a game of essentially bugs. Great fun and satisfaction in combat and exploring the map. Highly reccomend for anyone if you dont mind an ocassional challenge with boss fights

This game was recommended to me by one of my friends earlier this year, but it took me a while before actually getting a hold of it. I must say, I am very glad that it was recommended to me because this is a very well-crafted game in every sense of the word. Even the packaging, which comes with a fully illustrated color manual and a map of the in-game world is more than what most million-dollar companies are willing to do. The game itself is no less impressive, mastering the Metroid/Castlevania style of gameplay while also staying true to an original take on the formula, adding in elements from games like Ori and Dark Souls to help keep things fresh. For the price tag it's quite a steal with how much they added into it. The base game boasts a large world to explore and a variety of platforming and combat challenges. On top of this, four additional downloadable content packs were added to it, increasing its replay value with additional difficulty modes and speed running challenges. I have never been too eager to spend money on indie titles because I never know how much or what quality I will be getting for my money, but I can safely say that this is one game that stands out from the rest and can compete with some of the games that are made by the big-name studios. Buy it if you have not!

Hollow Knight is a great metroidvania style game that is really polished. It has responsive controls that make it easy to control and adjust when you fail in certain areas. The tone and art style of the game really help immerse you into its world. I found myself playing it far more than I thought I would. If you're a fan of metroidvania style games, this is a must buy.

Boy am I sad to say I missed the hype train on this game. What an amazing game! If you like metroidvania with tight controls and combat this is the one!

I played this game years ago and it isn't easy. I wanted the full collection and it was at a phenomenal price. The graphics are beautiful and the controls are smooth, just be prepared to rage quit.

It’s a good, rogue like game. The design of the game is fantastic, almost Halloween/Tim Burton design.

This is one my favorite games, of all time, The gameplay is awesome, the grind is thorough, and the feeling of accomplishment right up there with some of the best. The environment will pull you in, and challenge you. One of the best "metroidvanias" I've played.

Got this while it was on sale for $16. A warning before you buy though. You WILL rage quit, I can guarantee it. But this is a beautiful game, and if you're skilled, I 100% recommend it.

Great game but hard on platforming Also want to thank the Best Buy employee that went the extra mile to check for me behind because originally they said they had it available but when I got there it was not available but apparently they found an extra copy in the back I just want to say thank you to that employee we're going the extra mile

I bought this because I love the visual style. I’m not very good at this game because it is quite difficult, especially the boss fights, but the game is still so much fun. If you are easily frustrated by difficulty level, check out other reviews to see if you will like this game.

Great game. You are going to get lost in the world of hollow knight. So i hope you are ready. The gritty art style is perfect for this game. And the game play over all is so much fun.

I was always skeptical on this game. I first thought it was going to be a childish game and BOY was I wrong! The graphics are absolutely amazing and the soundtrack sets the tone for each area you explore. Can be a little difficult at times, but that’s the beauty of a challenge.

Incredible game and considering that this physical edition comes with a map and guide book; it’s a no brainer to pay the premium and grab this over digital version.
