This is a relatively graphically simplistic game. It does look incredibly clean and the black and grey tones are awesome! It is a challenging game but there are save points available. I am enjoying the challenge and continue to go back to this one.

Excellent game for metroidvania fans or gamers new to the genre. Great platforming and smooth mechanics. Explore a dark and mysterious insect kingdom while being challenged with new bosses with every new unlocked area.

This Metroidvania style game is a must own game for those who are fans of the gameplay style. The difficulty is perfect and ramps up as you explore more and more. It never feels forced or unfair. Definitely a strong recommendation.

I own this game digitally already, but love it so much I wanted to own the physical version. Great game full of exploration and tough battles. One of the best metroidvanias out there.

Hollow Knight is not a "hidden gem" among most gamers. If you go to the Nintendo Switch reddit there are always people praising this game, and for good reason. Its one of the best metroidvania games out there. Its worth noting that there has been a good amount of free DLC added to the game so that you're getting a really good value, even if the game is full price. This game is best suited for someone who's good at platformers, and combat in 2D games. Some of the boss fights and platforming challenges can be quite difficult.

I have yet to beat this game. Love the challenge. Love the story. Love the minimalistic look of the graphics.

I slept on this game way too long. Easily one of the funnest games in my collection. If you love plat formers and metroidvania styled games, this is for you. Amazing atmosphere and graphics as well.

I love playing this game, even though I never get anywhere with it. The game is extremely difficult and after visiting many forums on it, I'm not the only one to feel this way. Many gamers have stated that the game is harder on the Switch than on the PC due to the controls making some things almost impossible to achieve (think pogo jumping). I just might buy this for a PC to see if it makes a difference.

If you haven’t played Hollow Knight you should. I’m glad I waited for the physical release but this is a game worth double dipping on. Hours upon hours of content and smooth gameplay makes this an easy pick up for anyone.

Hallow knight is a great game overall. It can feel very mellow/casual when you're exploring around the map but it does get pretty challenging at times, however. There are some boss fights that take several tries and somewhat precise movement of your character. If you're into metroidvania style games and don't mind dying a lot to some challenging bosses, you'll definitely enjoy this one

For those wondering, if it happens to have the old/green background image, it also cam still have all of the DLC on it. It should have sticker om the front saying so ("Includes 4 Giant Content Packs")

I bought Hollow Knight for $7 through Best Buy. I had no idea how much I would end up loving this game.

Very fun & appealing Switch game. The story is very original which is refreshing. The design & play of this game looks simple but provides challenges as well as a cute, smooth, simple design & eye appeal.
