I have been wanting this game, finally went on sale. Love it. There is a degree of difficulty though if u love challenges. The game is fun, you can avoid some enemies so you can finish the game. It was a great purchase. A great addition to my growing nintendo switch collection of games.

This is by far one of my favorite games and I don’t even like side scrollers that much. The cute protagonist juxtaposed with the brutal combat and melancholic story is sublime. It lured me in with simple controls that require precise timing. There isn’t much of a narrative with only snippets of plot, but slowly you fall in love with the characters and world. This is a game for macabre, the nintendo generation, and those who seek a dark souls difficulty side scroller.

Awesome Metroidvania style game. Great art, music, and gameplay. This is the must own version for portability.

Be Aware if you don't know what this game is. it is a metroidvania dark souls like game. it is very difficult but a whole lot of fun.

Hollow Knight is an amazing game with so much to explore and do. I’ve gotten several play throughs and still haven’t completed everything! Truly an amazing game!

The game is different. I like it a lot. Graphics, sound, and story are there, but the game can be difficult, even on easy. It is also very appealing to the eye. I give it 4 stars and not 5 because of the difficulty in gameplay.

This game is quite literally a rabbit hole. You’ll spend 10s of hours exploring the world of Hollownest, discovering mysteries, finding new abilities, upgrading your weapons, stumbling into seemingly countless boss fights, talking to interesting characters, and a lot more. This game is truly a work of art and an absolute joy to any Metroidvania fan

This game is fun and fast paced but really is kind of sink or swim during the beginning. But once you get it the games awesome!

This game is amazing. All the DLC is excellent too. The game is challenging and fun. You will fail multiple times at first until you get the hang of fighting in the game. You will spend hours just exploring every nook and cranny of the map. The characters in the game are great. There are many upgrades and different endings. I would highly recommend this game.

I had this game on my nintendo e-shop wish list for months, but after discovering the existence of the physical version I couldn't resist. Without doubt, one of my favourite games of all time. A vast, atmospheric, detailed world to explore. Lots of secrets, different abilities and upgrades to discover. Plenty of challenging platforming and a huge variety of enemies and bosses, requiring skill and often persistence to defeat. The story is deep and cryptic and the characters you meet are unique and interesting. I love the art style, the haunting music and the sense of progression, as you come to learn the worldmap and master the enemies and controls. Not to mention all the DLC is included, adding countless more hours of gameplay to an already large game. Team Cherry have lovingly crafted an intricate, expansive world with it's own distinctive and intriguing aesthetic and lore. In addition, I knew about the existence of two print versions of the game: an incorrect one, where there were only 3 dlc in the cartridge (the fourth one needed to download it) and the exact one where the 4 dlc was already inside the cartridge. This difference in print was known from the back of the cover: the exact one, that is, the one that came to me, has one of the thumbnails (the most right) with golden colors. In the wrong one, instead of that thumbnail there is an image of a fight on a bridge with bluish colors. A true masterpiece and a must play! I can't wait for the sequel, Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Already owned this game on steam but decided to pick up the physical version for my switch. Game is great if you like metroidvanias.

Great graphics and unstetes ring story. It is one of the greatest games available.
