This is a great 2D platformer with very polished mechanics. The musical score and visuals create the perfect, fitting atmosphere that reflects the world you explore. There are many, unique boss fights to encounter and plenty of backtracking to rack up the playtime hours that will not feel tedious for most. There are a good number of ability customization options via a badge-like system. Overall, I found this title quite fun and have spent over 40 hours on it and counting!

If you are looking for a good quality Metroidvania to play, then you have found one. Hollow Knight is filled with a lot of personality, and will make you want to keep exploring the depths below, even after several hours of gameplay, and you are given several different ways to do so. The only real negatives about this game, which are minor, is that there are many times where the nearest bench (in game save spot) is quite a ways away, and often in inconvenient places, and, while there are a variety of different locations, the art style makes them blend together in such a way as to make them all feel very "same-y". With everything being said, if you enjoy games such as Metroid, Castlevania, Bloodstained, you will almost certainly be sure to enjoy this.

Its a great, dark, brooding game. Beautiful graphics. Its not an easy game, but its not hard either.

Best physical edition, get all dlc and the map look so cool

This games is very enjoyable and affordable. It has a decent amount of challenge, but isn't too easy or too difficult once you get the hang of the controls.

This is one of the only ways to get Hollow Knight completely on the cartridge (with all the DLC pre-installed, if I remember correctly). I always wanted to get this game, and physically too, so I'm glad it was ported to the Switch. Game runs well, and is just as snappy and accessible to play on the Switch compared to Xbox and PlayStation.

I don't want to say too much about this game because it's better to discover it for yourself. It's an exploration-heavy 2D platformer, and it's awesome on several levels. It feels like no matter where you go, there's something new to find. Moving around is fun, combat is fun, piecing together the lore behind the game is fun, getting lost in the world is fun and figuring out how the world connects is fun. This is one I'll be replaying often.

Game is just great. Graphics are beautiful, music is on point and game play will keep you into it for hours.

i thought of this game as pretty cool, only problem is theirs like literally no map, until u get it and the location of where your at, which makes it very difficult to play, but when you do get the map and such it makes it all so easier, this game can be a lil repeat also, same stuff but atleast theirs different actions and such its an alright game!

Bought this about 2 months ago even though i already owned the digital version of the game. however, i wasnt able to find this bundle ( the plush toy and game) and never thought to look on bestbuy and sure there they have it, cheaper than in all the places i looked (ebay, amazon etc.) and also it was shipped hella fast. i am pleased with my purchase 100% and would recommend any hollow knight fan to acquire this gorgeous edition of hollow knight

Hollow Knight more like heck of a night!! This game is great! I started playing it and could not put it down. I mean I had to after my mom made some bagel bites and then again for my half hour soda chugging break and then a little bit after that for my hourly candy bar break and a few more times for other stuff, but in-between those breaks man was I playing this game when I wasn't looking at my phone for people playing this on youtube.

LOVE this game, so much so that I doubled dipped for the digital and physical. My first Metroidvania style game and has encouraged me to branch out to many other series that I may have otherwise never tried. Challenging but rewarding and the art style is so beautiful. I can't wait for Silk Song to come out one day.
