This game is amazing, it's loaded with content and there's so much to do. I'd say Hollow Knight would be worth $30 or $40 for the interesting story, fresh gameplay mechanics and entrancing music. Should you let an opportunity to play this game pass you? Absolutely not! Go out, play this game you'll thank me later.

I don't get the hype.....this game just stinks! Could of been much better.

Very good game it had every thing you would want and more

This is a contender for best game of the year, and should be your next purchase after Breath of the Wild. Masterful storytelling revealed in the elliptical fashion characteristic of the Soulsborne games with amazing writing to boot. An excellent Metroidvania with a boatload to explore and 35+ hours of gameplay. Challenging but not punishing. One of the best soundtracks you can hear in a videogame, and that's not hyperbole (check it on YouTube if you're skeptical). I didn't expect this title to be this grest, frankly, and given its current limitation to PC and the Switch, Switch owners should be thankful they can even play this modern masterpiece. The art style may throw you off at first, but hidden beneath the cartoon graphics is a story rife with classic philosophical dilemmas about the meaning of sacrifice, life, and the price paid for knowledge. Seriously - buy this game.

Its basically a neverending metroid level. I didn't enjoy it at all.

This game tbh is a master piece one of the best metrovanias out there good music good gameplay where it’s not so hard you can’t beat but where it still gives you a challenge I highly recommend it if my review doesn’t win you over just check out all the other reviews.

A fantastic game! the combat is engaging, the music fun, and plenty of LORE

This will go down as an all-time classic platformer. Great story, beautiful aesthetics, very challenging (if that's your thing), and tons of replay value. I honestly already had this digitally but I bought the physical copy because I wanted to own it, own it.
