Great sound and easy to set up. It sync with Vivint smarthome and Hue lights.

This was purchased to assist with homework questions, function as an alarm, play music, set reminders, and link to another room with Google Home working as a speaker to broadcast messages. By far it has surpassed any of my expectations as it does everything that I want and more!

I love this mini edition of Google Home. Already had the original Google Home in my living room, but had to yell across rooms if I wanted anything. Now I have one of these in my bedroom, I can control my Hue lights without screaming. The speaker looks and feels very premium too.

The Google Mini works well as long as you realize what it does. It is meant to be handy. It plays music, but not like a larger sound device. Where it really shines is answering questions and controlling smart home devices. It seems to hear your voice well and is surprisingly accurate with the information that it provides. A very nice device especially considering the price point.

I was very skeptical of the home assistant craze. I picked up this Google Home Mini when it was on sale in November and love It! It works with so many brands of smart devices and can identify multiple users by voice.

This really enhanced my experience at home. I'm now walking in from home and saying turn on my living room light. I'm also not fumbling around with my phone trying to find a playlist or movie to watch. I can just tell Google Home to play a playlist or movie onto my chromecast!

The Google mini has great sound for such a small speaker. It works well with the other Google smart speakers we have. We use it for music, news, home automation, and more. Easy to set up from my smart phone. I would recommend the Google home products to anyone. Glad we got it.

Hey Google...Ok Google...Hi Google...wish you can add more wake up commands other than the ones above. Good starter product for those just getting into the whole assistant and smart devices thing. Mainly used to assist with playing music, getting quick updates such as news, weather and sports and learning trivial and useful information without looking into any screen. Easy to setup but beware of sneaky Google things that try and get more data from you. Do this: review and re-review your permissions after setting up. It detects and hears commands fairly far from where it is situated which is pretty cool. Sound output is good but not too much to go on with for "audiophiles" but it does what it's supposed to primarily do for me...Hands-free operation of my music subscription and thus providing good sounding music on a whim.

I decided to get this smaller unit for my garage, it has come in extremely handy. While tinkering and have dirty hands, I can simply ask google for help and it happens! Change music, what's the weather like, what type of spark plug does my lawn mower take? Thank yoiu google.

I got this on sale at Christmas time when BB was offering a great price plus a gift card rebate. It has been fun to use and works well at controlling my Hue lights, Nest thermostat and TP-Link outlet switch. It also works very well with music services like Google Play and iHeartRadio. It has even surprised me a couple of times in doing things like playing a song from Google Play when you tell it a line of the lyrics. But for other operations and requests, it's really far behind Siri. It's very small size and attractive styling allow it to be placed almost anywhere without standing out as ugly. Keep in mind that this unit is very small. As such, you cannot expect high fidelity from the speaker, but it beats a blank. It was easy to pair with my other mobile devices to use as a speaker. The companion Goggle Home/Google Assistant app are simple for most tasks. But can be a bit confusing when setting up devices like smart bulbs and switches. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. But I'm really waiting for the HomePod to take its place.

My husband loves our Google home and google home mini. It works perfectly. It makes life easier and more fun. We play music, ask it questions, search the internet, and change the tv with it. I love it. I want one more to go in another bedroom. This is definitely worth $30.

First the price is great for an introduction to the product. I have the larger one but I needed this one for my office and bedroom.it understands mistakes, speak is more conversational rather than robotic, and the speakers although not to loud, the output quality is great.

I use the Google Home mini to replace the radios in my house. The speaker is clear and all you need to do is ask Google for the time and weather. You can also ask what is on your agenda for the day and how long is the commute to work etc. I love it and a I love the price.

Setup is easy. It plays music from spotify, Pandora, and Google play music. I like to put reminders and create shopping lists with it. It's can recognize different people's voice. U You can also create custom commands and actions for it to carry with Google's IFTTT app.

This little mini packs a punch. the larger one is better but don't get me wrong this item will do the job in an office or bedroom or even kitchen. We have them all throughout the house for when we leave or arrive home. Plays music perfectly throughout the house as well.

I have one in each room for a total of 4 Google home mini's. We use them to turn on and off our Lifx smart bulbs light. The kids have them in their room for listening to music and using them as alarm clocks for school, and timers. Search recipes in the kitchen, ask it history questions, play trivia games. Broadcast messages to other Google Home Minis in other rooms like "Dinner is ready". Overall a very useful product that does not cost a fortune. Sounds better than the Amazon Dot.

This little unit has the integrated Google AI just like your android phones and the google home units. If all you are looking for is basic functionality, then this unit is for you. If you are looking to play music or books or use this as a bridge between your phone and entertainment center you are going to want to look at the more feature rich google home unit.

I Purchased this device for my parents. They know how to answer a smart phone and text. The Google dot has been very easy for them to use. They ask it to play music, set a timer, and what the weather is for the day. They seem to have enjoyed it very much so far.
