I use this in my bedroom. Great to converse with Google directly from my bed. It's low profile and even smaller size (I have a regular G Home for my living room) makes it almost disappear. So it is a great space saver as well. I would highly recommend this, and can't wait for further add-ons with it. Great product !!

We have been thinking about switching some items in the house into smart features. To start out though, we needed to understand what they could do. This was bought at the same time we bought some lights. Nothing too over the top. And it was a great way of learning what they could do. It didn't long for me to get use to having one in the house. Granted it didn't stay where it began. After some other products, we moved this into the master bedroom to see if we would use it there. That was one of the best moves we did with the mini. Here are things we found that we like with just one; Control movies, play music, tell stories, play whitesound or sleep sounds, crate - edit - read back lists from Keeps, answer random questions, and controlling lights. If you have more then two, we found these things that we liked; broadcast messages to other speakers, calling other speakers, and being link to one household so we can get information anywhere. I personally went with Google for a few reasons. I've been playing with the Google AI with my phone for a few years. So I had some idea what they were doing. I also like the look and profile of their speakers more the Alexa. I also felt that Alexa needed to be link straight with your Amazon account and I can easily see us ordering things we shouldn't by voice. Before you get into smart home, research which you want as the based of your smart home. If you know other to create a smart home without these, do it. But if you are thinking about what you might want in a smart home and can do programming, get one of these with some lights.

OK, so I already have the Alexa, so didn't want to spend the big bucks on the Google Home.... However... getting this mini for $30 was a great choice... so much so, I now have 3 of them for different rooms. Very easy to set up, and it understands everything! I definitely prefer this over the Alexa now. Worth the buy!

I absolutely love this little helper. I purchased one, then another. Look forward to purchasing more for holiday gifts. The speaker is loud, it is compact and looks professional. Very helpful for the price and for any age.

I love my Google mini,it's cute,small,u can talk 2 a man or woman ur choice,I like that it's name is google,not Alexa,I have it in my bedroom & I really enjoy talking 2 Google &listening 2 my music,try it u will like it!

Like the mini as it offers easy access to a lot of information. My daughter loves it as she can ask many research questions which requires her to access web. My son loves it as he can play songs on it by just asking it.

Super easy to set up. Really cool little devise. Talk to it from my cell phone to let my wife know when I am on my way home from work. We have two, so I can also talk to her through it from down stairs. No more yelling!

The device is very good with weather , sports scores and schedules, keeping reminders and appointments. Playing music and linking with chromecast is very easy and seamless. Pretty neat device that is relatively easy to setup and can serve multiple purposes. I mainly use it to play music while doing chores in the kitchen. I am excited to see the way that it evolves and learns going forward

I started with an echo and returned it for a google home. The home mini is a great addition to other rooms, and sounds great for being smaller than the google home. I have a mini in all of out bedrooms and a Google Home in the main living area. The ability to drill down into questions on the google setup over amazon is a huge plus! I like being able to ask multiple questions without starting over like the echo. Google adding the ability to broadcast a message to all Home and mini's on the same network is very nice! Its nice to send a message to the whole house without yelling up the stairs.

I bought one after trying a store demo and honestly I'm really impressed by how accurate it can hear my voice across the room while the TV is on. It has great sound quality and does everything from my LG smartphone.

I just received the Google Home Mini and I am already in love. Syncs very easily to your phone for music, decent sound quality for a small speaker, recognizes commands quite well, and has decent volume. There are a few features I wish it had, such as texting capabilities, but overall a really good product.

These Google Minis are great. They don’t take up a lot of space. They can answer questions, wrk as alarm clocks, and more. Plus, we networked them to work as an intercom system, which is great for a larger house.

The google home mini is basically a souped up version of the same assistant on your cellphone, but instead of having to unlock and pull out your cellphone to use google assistant you can just use it within earshot. The sound from the mini is also really good, and is a great way to play your music.

I recently bought this as a gift for my sister. She loves this device! It's constantly being used as a speaker for music, to play games, and of course the usual assistant activities. This device is easily set up and if you don't understand how to do something, you can literally ask it to help you. Also, I recently bought a Pixel and found it's highly compatible and can even send recipes to it from my phone. Great buy!

The audio quality on these little speakers is much better than I expected for the price and they get surprisingly loud for the size. The google assistant works fine with some expected configuration hiccups.

This speaker has better sound quality than the dot, and it pairs with the Google Home for added ease of access in home automation. Can use in separate rooms so you don't have to shout at the home from afar

Very easy to install and start getting answers, I use mine to get the news in the morning,play music, and have even played trivia games with the family, looking forward to finding out what else I can do.

Set up was easy and we are having fun learning how to use our Google Home mini. A great way to start using this technology. The charcoal color looks like a dark brown to me. It blends in almost anywhere.
