This is more smart than speaker but the smarts are good. Sound quality is maybe sightly better than and iPhone. The real value is you get an assistant that’s always ready to respond to your questions, play a song or turn out the lights. Well made and looks stylish.

I put this by my entry door so I can turn the lights on as soon I get home. The voice volume is very clear and loud enough for a small entryway. I use a regular Google Home in my office and am looking forward to upgrading that to the Max when funds are available :D

After reading many reviews that stated these could be used as an intercom I purchased two for specifically that purpose. It turned out that you can only do a 'broadcast' - i.e. a one way announcement. I returned them the same day they arrived. Too bad . . . Waiting for them to work two way . . .

Own a full size Google Home and need a Bluetooth for other parts of the house. This was the best way to go.

I have a mini in each bedroom and some less occupied rooms. They are great for issuing commands around the house. Function great as a homegroup to play music or podcasts throughout the house. The volume could be a bit better, but I guess that's why they make the Max or the Regular Home speaker.

I love how it controls my TV when it's hooked up to a chrome cast. If you Can't find the remote just ask Google to play a certain movie or show and it'll play it right on your TV. Of course just like Alexa it'll answer questions or play your music.

Great addition for son's room. Like the instant access to info.

I like it due to I can ask what’s the weather lol I tried it with my IPhone can wait to get another Samsung

My friend seems to like it especially being compatible with their TV.

Mine will sometimes respond at the max volume and quickly go to the set volume. Which is very annoying. i.g. I have it set at volume of 3 but when it responds.. it'll bug out and be at volume 10 which is very startling. Sound is much better than alexa and more visually appealing.

Not a bad little speaker. Easy to set up with my Google Hub.

I thought it would be more convient but you have to plug it in everywhere and it doesn't know some of the things you are asking and you end up looking up online. the plus is the sound and you can listen to podcast much louder than a phone would allow. the top does get a bit hot so be careful

the Google home mini is an amazing addition to our house. We put one in almost every room so we can control the lights in our entire house. Only drawback with this device is the fact that it does not have a sophisticated enough microphone to pick up your voice when other people are talking. It often gets confused. But other than that it's a great device.

The near field recognition is not as good as amazon and tapping the sides for volume control is cumbersome

It functions well, there just aren't any easily found instructions for setting up anything but the basics.

This mini is loud and is great for listening to music in the bathroom.
