It gives the impression that it can play anything through your streaming apps, but NOT at all. Perhaps it's too new and the company needs to do some major tweeking and improvements. We stopped trying to use it at all, except for when my fiancé wants to yell at it and wait for the less than clever replies.

Very limited function for music and hard to use with IPhone

Product needs a lot of expensive accesories for an optimal performance.

I have own almost all the Echo devices and decided to give Google a whirl. What a mistake! This product is not easy to set up. It is clunky, could not listen to my directions. I returned it in just a few days. Do yourself a favor and buy an echo.

Trouble interacting with my new Sony hdr. Have to say "ok go gole" every fecking time. Three long sylabulls, Alexa is two and easy and now natural to say. Amazon's Alexa wins this one.

very disappointed, not as good as the 2nd gen echo dot. you have to scream in order for it to hear you, microphone suck, should of waited for a 2 gen. i would not recommend

I personally can do without google. She interrupts conversations and chimes in unwanted. Doesn't have answers to most simple questions. Google is useless

I got this for father's day and it some me up in middle of night saying microphone is off. Very hard to set up. No Bluetooth connection. I took it back.

Great design and high quality speaker for the small size. It's smarter than Alexa and keeps surprising with ability to answer random questions. I do miss top tap occasionally, but overall I was pleasantly surprised.

Don’t like how so little apps to help control other electronics Alexa has more accesible control to other electronics such as Roku

We've been using the home mini for about a month now. Right out the box the setup was very simple and the home app pretty much walks you through the entire setup as it does with most Google products. At first we used it for simple things for example playing Pandora, and netflix. As time has passed we've started adding home automation to it as well and so far I've been very pleased with the results. My children have also started figuring out a lot of the cool things it can do like reading stories and playing music on the Chromecast in their room. I plan on adding several more home mini's as well as the full sized to be the backbone of my full home automation.

Getting issues, stating mic is off. Did an complete RESET, but of no use.
