Pretty good I like this one cuz it’s cheaper. And it does exactly what the big one does.

switched from an Echo to this since our entire house is google based. While the assistant works fine and responds to things even in loud rooms, I'm disappointed by some command limitations around music. There has been a problem for some time now on not only shuffling music, but even using one's own library instead of a radio station. I'm sad to say its no better here even with custom shortcut commands. Playing a playlist or just my library as a whole shouldn't default to a push for paid radio subscriptions or require two separate commands to access my music only, then shuffle it.

One of our Nest Minis keeps unlinking from my Google account. Every day, sometimes multiple times per day, we (myself and the other person in my Google Home) get a notification saying one of us has unlinked the Nest Mini from our account, but neither of us did. "[email protected] unlinked Living Room speaker from your home" Once that happens, the only response the Mini will give is "Please login through the Google Home app" We'll re-link the Mini to our account through the Google Home app, but within 12-24 hours it will automatically unlink itself again. We have already... - Rebooted the Mini - Rebooted our WiFi - Factory reset the Mini - Factory reset every Mini/Chromecast in our house - Completely deleted our entire Google Home and set it up from scratch ...but it is still unlinking itself. We have two other Nest Minis in the house and they work perfectly. Only this one in our Living Room is having this issue. The one disconnects is bought at Best Buy

So I got the alexa as a gift. I used it for about two months. But realizing that I own google products than any Amazon, I decided to switch. It was the right call. Everything that I have it is linked and although my cell and my speaker answer individually when I ask 'ok google' I believe it's just a matter of tweaking the settings. Volume it's ok, response sometimes takes more than one 'ok google' but overall it works for me.

Have a couple around the house to use for questions, to hear my Nest Doorbell ring, use for a alarm clock to wake me up in the morning and to control other smart features that I have and to play music!

I love this device keeps me frm being lonely. Love to schedule alarms by voice

Google has disappointed on a grand scale. It can answer the stupidest of questions (where is Santa?) and yet can't dial out number stored in my contacts on my Google account/phone. I can't end a phone call other than saying "OK Google, Hang up" - which of course makes it useless as it would record this when leaving a voice message. Also, it does not interface with my phone (like when I ask it to display pictures)...my phone shows it's registered with the Mini but it asks what device to show it on and does not recognize my phone when I direct it to "show my pictures of ___ on my phone." It's a gimmicky waste of money far away from being useful unless you're bored, have no friends and need a computer to keep you company. At least I only paid $30...but would NOT recommend this product until they make some serious improvement to capability and functionality. Really disappointed...something I would expect from Apple/Siri, not Google.

We use these throughout the house. They control the lights, music, thermostat, communicate with each other, etc. They're great.

Google does not tell you that it's home device has issues playing music. It might be fine for turning on the lights and asking questions but for playing your music it just fails completely and it's a known issue. I wish I had found out about it before I purchased the mini. Will be returning it.

Yeah, not bad. Glad spent the extra money and got the good one. Can't say I'm displeased with my purchase.

This is a great product. Google responses to you fast and with accurate information. I can ask about sports scores and schedules and can get the response right away.

I am still trying to figure out how to put this wireless device under wireless password protected, however, works ok. Does not know simple things though like "sleep timer". It is my first home device so I have nothing to compare to.

I gave this to my nephew for Christmas last year and he loved it.

Love these! We have Google products throughout our house and love them.

The mini Google Home catches real quick the voice commands, and provide accurate answers. The sound quality for playing songs is satisfactory.

I've owned an echo dot and recently bought this and Hands Down! This is better than the echo dot.

This is a perfect device for my child. They love to play music on it and ask it questions all the time!
