I have one in several room of the house. My favorite function is that I can make speaker groups and play the same music in every room at the same time.

I'm not completely satisfied with google assistant, it often gets things wrong, or doesnt work the exact way you want. As far as this actual speaker, it's... fine. Main gripe is the mic isn't that good. I often have to repeat what I say.

We are still trying to learn all the things this little speaker can do. I love that if I’m cooking and my hands are not free I can ask it to set a timer, or reminder, or add to the shopping list. It can also tell you jokes, turn on music, etc.

Works pretty much just like Alexa - I like it.....

I bought this to pair with my Harmony hub set up to control my TV / entertainment device functions with my voice. Nothing but issues trying to do so. I'm sure this works great for people using it for normal everyday purposes. Not my thing though.

Go ahead and spring for the full size google home!

It's not as advanced as the Alexa, but does the searches we've asked and always plays tunes when asked. Just wish it was compatible with more products like my Logitech remote.

We have several of these throughout the house to play music, especially when entertaining. Nice to be able to use the Google Home voice commands in multiple places.

The Google Home Mini is a great way to get Google Assistant at a cheap price. The speaker could be better but it is plenty for a small bedroom.

I purchase two Google Home Mini for myself a year ago, I love it so much I purchase it again as a gift for a friend. They end up buying three more for their self.

My main issues with this product are that the microphone is bad at picking up your voice if there is background noise, even with a song in the background at normal volume you basically have to yell. And that even if you own songs in your google play music library you cant tell your google home to play those songs that you own. It says its only available to be played if you pay for their music subscription service even though you already own the song you are trying to play. I really like this product to use with netflix on my chromecast but you always have to specify that you want it to do something on the chromecast. You cant say "hey google pause" you'd need to say "hey google pause the chromecast"

I have the google home and now I'm getting the mini to put all around the house. It's a good investment and introduction to getting your house assimilated with smart devices.

I use my google home mini for home shores, cooking, cleaning or even working out at home. It is voice activated and it is very useful for when your hands are busy.

I was looking to make my house a smart home , didn’t know which route to go. Long story short it was a sale on the mini so I tired and couldn’t be happier.

This thing is awesome, we set this up in the basement due to having an other one upstairs. Turns off smart lights,surround sound via Bluetooth & so much more.

The google home mini does well to control smart home and to answer the occasional question. If you want something that can play music, try the regular google home, because the speaker leaves much to be desired for audio quality,

Got both the Echo Dot and the Goodle Mini to see how they work side by side. If you like music- the Mini has it all over the Dot, Connectivity seems to things like Thermostat and Smart Plugs is about the same. Decided to keep the Mini and return the Dot.

I thought google would have it all over its competitors, but this thing just sucks. I like the aesthetics of it, but it's got a long way to go to get as good as the major online retailer's version.

Ok lets speak the truth, if you need help or your hands are tied down, my wife uses it as her cooking partner; how many ounces in a cup? Give me a 30min timer, and more....

Love the control of audiocast devices and chromecast devices. However it is not as good at random questions as I thought a Google device would be. Alexa is better. Once you can ask it questions about random facts and history, etc, it'll be much better.
