    every thing was connected and works but i did not want two networks. it does work. the tech did not know how to change the modem/router combo to the to just the modem with the eero acting as the router

    The Geek Squad installed the cable modem but I spent two hours on the phone later that night with tech support because after setting up the modem the technician didn't unplug the desktop computer from the new cable modem and connect it to our wifi router as noted in the quick set up guide provided with the modem. The oversight created a problem where either the desktop connected to the internet or the wifi router connected, they wouldn't both connect at the same time until the desktop was connected to the router.

It's not unreasonable to have an expectation that your setup service will be completed correctly the first time and that you'll not need to follow up for help afterward. While we're happy to hear you were able to get the problem solved, you certainly shouldn't have needed to make the call and we regret having created frustration for you.

    I purchased a ring security system and had the Geek Squad install after countless attempts to get the system to work right, I had to purchase and return and purchase everything countless times as per instructions from Geek Squad. They told me to return the modem that the one I had was working. I went to the store since it was Covid-19 it wasn't essential I waited until now. I was told I can't return it from February it was too old and they said the store was opened I could have come earlier. Terrible Customer service now I have a modem that's useless which I paid $199 told to purchase and return by your Qeek Squad.

    I received an appointment date of a week and a half after I bought router. Then found out when they arrived that I had been told to get the wrong one. But they assured me that once I got the right one (which I had to get from CenturyLink--for free) if I needed any help to give them a call. Called both of them and I still haven't heard anything back. Finally was able to figure out how to do it myself. No help.

    I did not get the service that I paid FOR! They came at a time when I was not at home. I would never book a time when I would be a t the Senior Center teaching a class!

    NOT. HAPPY. AT. ALL!! Tech was rushed. Never showed me how to use the equipment. Never checked to see if signal was working around the house. I called and got a second appointment and this tech was worse. Wasn’t willing to listen to my issues. Complaining. Slammed my furniture and I asked him to leave. Not happy with Geek Sguad right now.

    Agent spent about 5 minutes said I needed to contact comcast...there problem! I thought he was supposed to set this up.....at least guide me to understand what was happening. Very disappointed in

    I purchased this for my mother in law. Agent was very lazy and kept the ssid and password that already existed. Did not leave a dossier with the information as required and wrote the password down incorrectly. I had to st this up myself. I would not recommend geek squad to do a home internet setup. This is very sad for me to say since I used to be a geek squad agent.

    I will NEVER buy from Best Buy again. We pay yearly to have them come set up things we buy. SCAM. We had to take it to the store to have it set up. Like i said NEVER again

    I waited for appointment...guy came...but...he was not modem person he only did home theater??? Said they were busy?? So just sent him to placate me...then wanted to set up another appointment? sò waited for a useless appointment....i am bringing modem back..

    This service was not completed and I was charged for it. I have been trying for three days now to get a refund and no one I have been able to reach (local, online, 1800bestbuy, etc) has been able to help me. This is horrible customer service and gigantic rip off.
