    We do not believe the system was programmed correctly and have been unable to reach the technician after multiple attempts.

    nice people but they didn't install my sensor properly so now I have to take 6 hours out of my day to wait around for them to get to my house between those hours! this is the 3rd issue.. .the 2nd one is having to replace a ring door bell... and now the new one isn't recording everything! I'm IRRITATED

    All devices fine and Geek was very nice but seemed rushed and a couple of the install issues are still not resolved.

    You sent 2 guys to set up the Ring sytem and fix the Sonos sound system. We were told that we needed a new nesting sytem router to get Ring to work, spent $1000.00 on new system. What they did NOT tell us that we lost the 2 other net works on our old router! We had 2 visits and still not working properly! The other concern we had is one Tech did work and the other sat and watched TV or played on his phone. The working Tech spent most of the repair time Googling how to set up our systems and trying to get them to work. We spent $200.00 on the Geek service and are not happy with what happened or the down grade in our system!!! Thank you for your time. Doug and Sue Call me if you want.

    The crew didn’t know what they Supposed to do. They had never installed a ring security alarm system. They had to follow the instructions in the manual and WE had to help them. They left without a clear explanation of how to use the system or what next steps we should follow to properly finish the installation. In conclusion, they didn’t do a good job. I had very high expectations about this in Home service, because every time I use their services at the store, I get a great service. It seems like their third party contractors are not in sync. After this very disappointed experience, I called the customer service to get a refund for the service, and they said they couldn’t do it because they didn’t collect the money, Best Buy did it according to GS. They told me to go to the store to get it resolve it. I went to the store, spoke with the manager and up today.... NOTHING has happened, no one has called me or anything. I would not recommend this service at home.

    Awful—scheduled appointment for service. Took a day off for this nonsense and no one even showed up. Had to get my money refunded. No call/no show—such lack of professionalism.

    I am sorry to say that my experience was horrible. I ordered a TV and security cameras on 10/7/22and was told they would be installed in two weeks . That would have been 10/21. Then I was told the install needed to be moved to 10/27 then it was moved to 11/1 then it was moved to 11/14 then it was moved to 11/18 and finally it was moved to 11/23 . My experience with the Best Buy sales team was great . However Best Buy uses a third party scheduler and a different third party installer and they are horrible . It’s a shame that Best Buy is losing its brand because of third party partners .

    Geek Squad did not install my security system well

    1. The motion detector was not installed properly and fell off the wall at 10:00PM causing a false alarm. 2. The installers left and did not program the key pad.

    What a joke-couldn’t install simple thermostat.

    Installed TV fine, Did NOT install thermostats, when tech had problem called supervisor whom he informed that he was on speaker multiple times. Supervisor used profanity, said our unit was old (ten years isn’t old to me), then said thermostat wasnt compatible because we had heat pump. Thermostat was chosen as it does work with heat pump which manual I showed to tech who was on site. Tech on site was apologizing for superiors behavior. Bottom line 2 thermostats not installed. Not a happy customer.

    Installed Ring Sensors backwards

    I had to have two different appointments because of a faulty device. The Ring security system was installed several months ago and I've continued to have contact problems with the sensors. I've had at least 4 long support sessions with Ring trying to fix the problems. Today, I spent an hour on the phone with Ring. They asked to send a picture of the sensors that continually give me problems. Guess what? Geek Squad installed them backwards. I spent 30 minutes doing an online chat with Geek Squad and they won't come out to fix their shoddy work without another installation fee.

    Home Alarm System: Don’t Use

    Four appointments still not completed. 1st and 2nd appointments, Geek Installer showed up without a ladder and refused (said the couldn’t use my ladder.) when I asked why did they show up withou a ladder too install outside camera - no answer. Third appointment: Outside contractor started but didn’t complete. Made an appointment to return and didn’t show up or call. When I contacted Best Buy,,Contractor didn’t respond d to call from Best Buu.

    Haven't seen them yet. I received a call that original skeduled day was not on service schedule, which put it out even further. Never heard from them for confirmation on new day and now have other plans. I have no idea when they will show up. Poor service and they havent even got here.

    Professional and courteous installation except for the placement of the exterior cameras. I questioned the installation location but trusted the technician, rather than my instincts. Just a few weeks after installation, my car was broken into while parked in my driveway, and the camera didn't illuminate nor record the break-in. I suspect it was due to the installation location...I should have trusted my own judgement rather than that of the installer's.
