    bad experience they fixed my ring alarm system after 3 visits from techinician.

    We have been trying to get in contact with multiple people about our ring and no one seems to be responding so this might allow someone to see this bad review so someone can help us with our ring system. We have been having issues with our ring and no one will help us.

    I didn’t buy anything new or contact Geek Squad. I would like to be reassured that my Geek Squad account has not been compromised. I also don’t know if there is some kind of identity theft going on. How was this purchased? I don’t see anything on my credit card.

    Ring system installation

    The installation was not completed. 2 smoke alarms were not activated on the system, the Ring doorbell was not adjusted properly, a door sensor was not installed properly and fell off the door and is now not working and the motion sensor seems spotty. And they arrived late.

    Items are defective , bad installation , bad experience with geek squad and their work . Still having problems . A total disaster! Very disappointed in Best Buy and geek squad !!

    I have called and was. Told someone would Contact me in 24-36 hours. Have. Not heard back. Was not refunded spoke Something not installed. The sensors and keypad for security system are falling off the walls and doors. Not happy.

    Service at the store was terrible. Couldn’t make them understand what I needed done. Techs were good but not able to complete work because of defective material. Store was of no help whatsoever.

    I TRIED TO CANX THIS SERVICE AND I WAS UNABLE TO DO SO. I TRIED TO CONTACT THE GEEK SQUAD MANAGER, JAMES LAGO, VIA THE EMAIL ADDRESS HE GAVE ME AND HE NEVER CONTACTED ME.

    Impossible to get an appointment for install

    After numerous phone calls to the Geek Squad to get an appointment to set up my security cameras, I gave up. However, they still charged me $129 for the "home visit" which never happened.

    The agent carter did not show up between the scheduled time. He was more than 2 hours late. He acted as if setting up my electronics were a huge inconvenience for him.

    Scheduled wrong date and gave me wrong quote.

    Scheduler scheduled wrong date so I left work and waited. No one showed up Had to reschedule. The price quoted for the installation was wrong. Had to pay extra to the technician. Not pleased with whole experience.

    Despite three visits, my SimpliSafe is still not working properly. I realize the the big problem is the product but I would still like the installation issue resolved.
