Once you get your various accounts synced up, it's great when you wake up ask it to tell you your daily agenda and play music simply by asking.

I love the Google home. I chose the female voice. Don't have to turn on my tv to listen to music anymore. I just ask Google home to play music.

I have used the Google Home for the last two months and it has worked almost flawlessly. Pros: -Automation with the Philips Hue hub and bulbs work quickly. I have tried an Echo Dot with Philips hue and it was about a second slower than the Google Home. -Answers questions more accurately than the Echo Dot. You can also ask the Google Home questions more naturally than the Echo Dot. -Speakers are very good. I have not tried the regular Echo device for comparison, but it definitely packs a punch. -The connection to Chromecast is amazing. Ask it to play "Parks and Recreation" on Chromecast, and it will start playing the episode where you left off through Netflix (as long as you have a Chromecast and a connected Netflix account). So far, I have found that you can ask it to skip to the next episode or turn subtitles on/off, but not play a specific episode. Cons -No Bluetooth. If you connect the Google home to your Spotify account and it is playing music through the Home, you can control the music using the Spotify app on your phone or laptop, as long as it's on the same account, but you can't use the Home just for the speakers. -Overtime, it seems the Google Home is having more difficulty in detecting "OK Google" or "Hey Google" from across the room. Blowing into the two mics on the device helps a little. -Currently does not have native support with some devices, such as the Logitech Harmony hub or smart plugs.

Easy to hook up and enjoy. Has an answer for everything you ask. Purchase for lounge at work. Great way to get people to socialize and connect.

It pay music news .. make funny sound and turn off my tv too. I may buy few mini homes and setup in the house. And google is smarter then alexa.

Got this for my dad for Christmas after seeing a commercial. Looked at the Google Home and Amazon's Echo and decided on the Google Home because of the compatibility with his Google phone and the potential for what Google will bring to this Smart Home device. Set up was a breeze and using it has been a blast. Lots of laughs with a group of people asking it questions. Definitely worth the price.

Purchased this as a gift for myself to listen to music while in the kitchen. My son has an Amazon dot, but I dont love the interface with Alexa and because there's no integrated speaker, it just doesn't get the job done for music. Google home is very easy to set up. Incredibly easy to operate. And the integrated speaker produces great sound quality! Couldn't be happier.

Super clear sound and hears my voice over music and tv. Connects well with most smart home devices. I use it with philips hue and smart plugs.

The Google Home is better at answering questions than Alexa and rapidly catching up in home automation. It still lags behind in customization.

Google is very smart. Great sounding speaker when playing music. It was very easy to setup. Looking to get another one to use in the kitchen!

This is kind of unnecessary but so cool. Anyone who wants to know anything should have this. It uses the magic of Google to answer everything. It works flawless with Spotify. It also has the ability to manage all of your smart home devices. Alexa uses Bing which does not have the same search capabilities as Google. If you are wondering which one is better look no further.

The Google Home is an excellent addition to get your house in the smart house arena. It is ready and easy to setup. I recommend this product.

Google Assistant plus Google Assistant. Sure it's a speaker but the real reason to but it is for google Assistant. On sale for$79 you can't go wrong!

We got this as a gift with purchase from Best Buy so thanks first of all Bestbuy :-), second my kids love this thing they keep talking to it all day and ask it/her about anything lol and it has nearly all answers to all reasonable questions you throw at it, I don’t have much google devices to control as it will only connect to google enabled devices not Apple since I have several apple devices that’s my only criticism about it , besides that it works great , setting alarm , weather infor, traffic report , booking a flight etc all works

I originally wanted to purchase this item to help me coordinate all of my smart home devices, and it does that very well. I never expected to love the ability to just call out songs that I’d like to hear or podcasts that I’d like to listen to, and have them played automatically. It’s such a great product! Sound is great And it was so easy to set up and use.

This was a great Christmas present for my daughter and her family. The grandkids loved it as much as their parents. Variety of uses for all!

Bought one for my Dad and my Wife. Product is great. Super easy to set up. Seems much more user friendly than the Amazon Echo we had before.

I got my Google Home as a Christmas present, I had been interested in one since they came out. I chose Google Home over Alexa because of the vast reach of Google, the reviews I had read stated that Google Home was a better overall companion and the info it gathered was further reaching than the Amazon counterpart... In practice it has been really cool. It's tied into my Google Play account and YouTube account. It casts videos, music and such to any of our compatible TV's via a Chromecast. It's also tied into our Nest Thermostats and quite seamlessly will give you temp info as well as the ability to change the temperature. It's great to have around for random questions that come up, it will play games, tell you a joke and sing you a song. It also does a neat job of summarizing your day and letting you know of upcoming events. I don't even set my alarm clock anymore because I just tell Home when to wake me up. Our kids liked it so much they kept hogging mine, so we got two more for Easter, one for each of them. They love it! They use it every day, mostly for music, but they also talk to it a lot and use it to tell jokes and play games. It's been a really fun and entertaining piece of tech to have around. Once integration to send sms texts, email, and phone calls comes around it will be bullet proof.

Google Home made a hit! The sound quality will astound you in music and speech applications. Set up was easy. Integration with free Google music app alone makes easy access to favorites. Google's data search makes it the go-to reference for on the fly questions. About to branch home applications to include control of lights and small appliances. Forget Alexa...Go Google.

I've only had the Google Home for a few days, but it's already an essential part of my every day life. I love the ability to control all my home automation, access my music, and answer questions from one device. The sound quality is impressive for a small device. I wasn't buying it for the music feature, but I'll use it in the future. It's that good.
