I bought this for my wife and it has been a tremendous addition. It is easy to use and setup is a no brainer.

The speaker quality is surprisingly good for a small unit. It does look like an air freshener, not so great. I have it paired with a google home mini, smart switches, and hue. Works great, for the most part. Google cannot get it to play my music or video library. They say they are aware of the problem and have been working on it for awhile. They did not give me a time frame on when it might be resolved. It does not seem like a very high priority to them.

I bought Google Home the day it was released and had to return it because I was very disappointed. Google could have done a lot better with this device and they released a mediocre voice activated speaker instead. I love Google voice (renamed assistant) in my phone, it works excellent and I consider it the best voice assistant available. I was expecting to have at least the same or better experience when I bought the Home, but it was not even close. I have owned (Alexa) for a year now and I was hoping that Google Home would outperform Alexa, and it didn't. It can't not create events and sync them to the Google calendar. It can't send directions to your phone. It can't hear you if you are more than 5 feet away with only two microphones. The speakers are terrible, the sound is muffled. It can't play Netflix on your TV. It can't find movies around you. The news briefing was outdated. If you don't have anything to compare it with, it is a good device for a first time experience, for this reason I gave it 3 stars. Sounds better than Alexa to me. Works with most of my home automation devices as well as my calendar and phone.

Absolutely love the Google Home. The Google products are so easy to use and in my opinion even better than the Amazon AI products. I have both, but prefer the Google Home over Echo...

Has a long way to go for it to be something I can't live without. Could get rid of that proprietary AC adapter to start. Also, does not always hear me like it should from only 10 feet away.

While trying to decide between the amazon echo and the google home, we chose to google home overall. It answers more Google questions and can do more to what we wanted to do considering we don't make amazon purchases. It looks sort of like a air freshener and we have it in the living room. We can control our nest and lights with it along with play games, listen to music, answer questions, the google home was a perfect addition to our home!

Great sound, easy set up. Google is more conversationally aware and more accessible to talk to.

I love the Google Home. I have the Amazon Echo and the Google Home is far superior. It may not have all the integrations of the Alexa platform, but the list of supported devices is quickly growing everyday. I have three in my house connected to my Nest Thermostat and Protects along with Phillip's Hue and Wink. It's a great combination for home automation. Plus, the search is better than Alexa will ever be. I can't recommend the Google Home enough.

The Google turns on my lights, changes their color, dims them, is my alarm, let's me snooze and remotely runs many of my household features. I had no expectation but "yeh, right". My son programmed the lights and it does everything's as directed -- great voice recognition. I also love how it plays my music. I am a tough sell and this gadget totally won me over!

We use this at work, in a very busy kitchen.We can ask it to play music, set timers, update our calendars, keep a running shopping list, and set reminders. It's so convenient to just ask Google to take care of these tasks when our hands are occupied.. It really helps to keep small details from falling through the cracks because we were too busy to make a note or get to a computer . I know we have just scratched the surface of what this device can do!

The google to me works better than alexa, alexa has limited access to things like iTunes of which I like to hear a lot of stations, Also some time will not respond as easy as google

I nowl depend on my Google home to start my day. I asked it to tell me what the local weather is going to be. Just for fun I also ask it to tell me a joke. Great way to start the day

Easy setup, good sound for it size, mediocre software and usability at this point. WeMo and other IoT integration much more problematic than Echo. But, for some reason I like it more than Echo. Once Google Home adds failing asleep to music and other key Echo features, it will be better. Other issues - they will come out with a hockey puck product to compete with Echo Dot and Google has a very bad history of giving up on products in the past and then they are dunsel.

I love the Google Home. Having fun setting up home automation. I love that I can play my Google play music through the speaker. More attractive than the Amazon stuff, in my opinion.

We use our Google home every single day. My husband wakes up and days "fog morning Google" and it auto tells him the weather, stocks and news. Each family member likes different music all is awesome for who every is coming out cleaning to all for their favorite station to be played. I also use it as my kitchen timers or alarms, plus it can read me a recipe. And the sound quality is amazing.

Google Home is not only a very useful tool, but it is a lot of fun also. There is so much it can do. I'm still learning. My husband loves using it. He does not like using computers.

When i first bought this the novelty wore off pretty quickly, but a few months later and i'm finding that the manufacturer is holding to it's promise to add features and to make this product more useful over time. It's fun to continue to find new ways to operate your home and electronics just with your voice. The usual helpful traffic, reminders, weather updates are all there as well. A welcome addition to a now crowded market of voice activated appliances.
