Before purchasing the Google Home, I considered the Amazon products. It was Googles' massive content that made me choose this one. I found the speed at retrieval of information was impressive. If I didn't get the answer to my question, I found that restating the question was a better option for the device. I was surprised at the quality of the small speakers housed inside the unit. I'm finding more and more to ask this little device.

This was recommended by a BBY associate over the others because of how interactive it is and great with kids. The adults and kids in my home prefer Google over Alexa and Siri every time. My kids love playing games with Google and I appreciate being able to set up the call feature for my kids to call my cell from the Google Home while I am away. Amazing how fun and interactive the Google Home is.

Purchased with Phillips Hue lighting and together works great. Easy to setup and works.

Excellent Sound Quality, Very Easy To Connect to Devices.

As a part of my smart home journey, I needed a voice assistant to tie all the interactive pieces together and the Google Home works flawlessly for my current needs.

The speaker is great! The voice recognition is pretty accurate and the reach is reasonable. I was saying something across the room and it was able to do as asked.

I'm not going to take stars off because it can't do xxxx or yyyy. If you've done any research, you know that Google is constantly adding features to Home. Sure, it could do a lot more, but it already does a whole lot and people are spoiled these days. I have this wired to several other devices and I can now control my TV, Amplifier, Lights, and Thermostat with my voice. My house is like freaking Star Trek.

This product has a great speaker for its size and it is very useful to organize my day.

Amazing product. The accuracy recognizing what I say is extremely good. Been using it mostly for news and music in the morning, and to impress friends when they come. Want to set up some iot lights that I can use voice control on but they're too expensive at the moment. If you have a chrome cast you'll never have to search for videos again because you can just find them with your voice and it integrates flawlessly.

I bought it, and set up was an absolute breeze. There is something to be said when something works, the way it is advertised. Google got this one right! Were I had to argue with the Echo, the Home installation was seamless and intuitive. Gives me FULL control over my lights, including color and brightness. The Home provides useful information and is easy to work with. It isn't perfect, yet... But, it is quickly getting better!

I went in to buy Alexa for my 90 year old dad. In talking to the salesperson, he told me he had both, and liked both for different reasons. After explaining that Google Home would answer any questions that you could "Google" and that Alexa may or may not answer made up my mind. It was easy to set up and with the information being as acurate as Google and the other features, it made it a no brainer for me.

Love the Google assistant. Simply just ask something and boom the answer. Great sound also.

We have a few google Home speakers in the house, mostly the mini versions, and those work great for answering questions, and getting information quickly and easily using voice commands. This is the slightly bigger brother, and it makes it so music sounds pretty good. We have a Sonos speaker for most music needs, but for the one small room this unit works great for my son.

Google Home has been a life saver around my house. It was easy to sync all of our phones and tablets to it. Once synced it has voice recognition to remember our different calendars, music, etc. It even found my lost phone just by asking it to ring my phone. Easy to play all sorts of music through Spotify or just Bluetooth streaming. It can even find a specific movie on Netflix on my Smart TV.

I purchased the Google Home only because my Best Buy store was out of the Amazon Echo. However, I LOVE the Google Home and so far it hasn't tried to sell me anything! Pretty cool, huh? I have it play ocean sounds when I lie down to sleep and I have it tell me the temp outside in the morning and I have it play a morning alarm and also music to get ready by. Highly recommend! Great sound, too!!!

I'm new to home automation but after owning this for a month or so, I see good potential. My wife enjoys being able to play music via voice and I get to tinker with smart lights etc. Win\win situation. Only concern is that a few times the device starts speaking without anyone saying ok Google. Kind of creepy. Other than that sound quality is good and the microphones pick up voice from a good distance.

I'm really enjoying this product. It's great to have for your home bc it helps with various things. We listen to music often on it and the quality of the sound is really awesome. It helps with homework for school. Which is one major deciding factor to purchasing this product. With out Having to turn on the laptop we can just ask Google home and still get great results. It's great to have for your home.

After months of hedging and wondering if it was finally time to get into the smart home lifestyle, I took the plunge-and I'm so glad I did! The Assistant is incredibly useful and versatile-I love how easy it is to add components as I go (Nest thermostat, smart light bulbs, outlets). I know I haven't even begun to exploit the Home's capabilities, but I'm excited to see how it grows with me!
