I have both Alexa and this and I must say the only reason why I'm going with the home is because of its search engine. Bing has nothing over google period. I docked this review one star because you cannot connect Bluetooth speakers to it.

This device is a good competitor to Amazon's Alexa. It has the potential to be bigger than what Alexa is today. The Android platform and Google assistant together helps in keeping you entertained and productive at the same time.

So the good: Really cool music player but if you want something to really crank up I dont know of a way to get it to play through speakers. So like the speaker on the unit or don't. Pretty good about answering questions. This is where it outperforms Alexa by a mile. I really like this thing for alarms. Its one of those things you would think is piddly but its pretty convenient. Alexa can do this too but I like google home a lot more for this. Synced up with maps so you can ask it about your drive somewhere or to work. Bad: The most ridiculous problem with google home... It cant do anything with your google accounts. Easiest point being it cant add anything to your calendar. Notification of new gmail? Nope. I expected them to add this support down the line but still haven't even heard of them planning to add.

Excited to have this item in my home. It's super easy to use

Works well as advertised, sound quality is good and it can respond to commands from a good distance away. Still lacks a lot of basic search commands and play music playlists are so so. Overall good product to play around with home automation.

I had a Google Home Mini, which I moved to another room and now use this smart speaker as my primary Google Assistant device. Music sounds great and it provides funny jokes on demand.

When my son gave this as a gift for Christmas, i told him to return it. I'm glad he didn't return it. We are using this everyday and enjoying it more everyday. It's has amazing sound and you can almost ask it anything :)

I read thousands of reviews of google home and the amazon echo. At the beginning i have my doubts for picking up the google home. But now I loved it. It is helping me for all.

It was easy to set up, can move it to any room. Love the music mix

I wish it could have Bluetooth as the Amazon Echo because apart from streaming you could use it without internet, anyway it has very good sound and I could use it with my Phillips Hue and Chromecast, Spanish language support would be great.

Works great with my Google Home Suite, I've added much more.

Love this product, its perfect for the living room/kitchen.
